All the runs I do as Germany, The starting divisions are well enough to take out Poland, I use all infantry along the front line while every other division from the cav to mot to mon and panzer along the bottom provinces and spearhead up into warsaw. i usually only make extra troops to hold ostprussian

@@deadpan904 I can only agree, I went for the old claim to the Roman empire to seize Istanbul (tsargrad), meaning I have Romania and turkey as buffer puppets and Hungary in my faction. Russian manpower and factories without the great purge grinding the Germans down left me to beat the Germans and Italians in 2 years and create a massive Bloc of buffer states. It was very satisfying

I enjoyed this video. I'm about half way through the achievements in solo play myself, and I used a lot of your videos to help learn the game and figure out some achievements. But every time I work to get the most efficient way through a focus tree I do wonder what the other branches do. I like to try some out myself, but its quite entertaining to see you do it. Form Al-andalus as a North African nation of your choice (Algeria, Morroco etc). Ideally you'll want to go through all the previous formables (sultanate of granada, sicilly etc) but you don't have to. Also, great covey as always.

Taureor glad your back during the confinement. I personally like those videos when you just try new things, because we learn more from 1 defeat than 100 victories (The art of war - Sun Zu). I would even suggest you, why not playing a-historical mode ? Because the historical mode is scripted, so we now that France will be allied with UK, Germany fascist, etc... so it is much easier for players. But if nations political paths are totally random, that is a real challenge and more realistic, even though less accurate historically.

A personal challenge that i struggled for some time to achieve is: Play as Romania, stay unaligned. You're not allowed to join any faction (for the entire game) but you can create your own faction with only balkan states. You have to say no when USSR is asking for Basarabia and you have to attack Germany before 1 january 1941 but not before 6th september 1939. And oh, no special troops allowed I struggled a lot to achieve this and i would like to see what way you find in order to conquer this challenge (without order 66 :D)

Communism and German Fascism are not to be compared as similar. The only similarity is within it’s statist ideology. Other than that, they are way, way different on all fronts. I don’t remember the communists trying to purge their populations to cleanse their nations. And I don’t remember nazis trying to forcefully redistribute wealth

Taureor the nazi’s did not fully redistribute wealth on anywhere near the scale even socialists would’ve wanted. The Communists (USSR in this example) never performed an ethnic cleanse. They purged a lot of people, but it wasn’t directed towards one race like the holocaust was. Famine’s don’t count towards an “ethnic cleanse” like systematically rounding up and murdering people does.

You were talking about this earlier in the video, the way I look at right and left wing ideologies is that you could go so far in one direction that you end up at the extreme of the opposite ideology, and I feel communism and fascism exhibit that. Only the person in charge says “I’m communist” or “I’m fascist” but in reality they are the same thing.
