Long time Logic user now hooked on Pro Tools so big thanks

I understand where you are coming from, a lot of people send me stuff in logic but I have always been a protools person… maybe one day I’ll learn it like I have learned Final Cut…. because this paying every year for a pro tools program is wild 😂

Yeah, I feel that. I think they brought back the perpetual licenses though, didn't they?

Thanks for the simple version of how to do this.

@CatoNoise always protools, I don't like apple so much 😊 I'm going to start working with a friend on mixing and producing his new material, he works in logic.

Hey there, so what is the best way to get in touch with you? I would like your advice on equipment such as Raven for Protools .. happy if you charge for your time, I need to upskill pretty quickly and get new sessions into protools ... @@CatoNoise

Some help if possible with a few points made here? I'm unsure about the export of "All Tracks As Audio/Midi Files"; 1. Is it not the case that the Midi Files become Audio Files to? 2. When Bouncing to create the Midi Files, am I right in thinking that it is just the Midi Events and not the Instrument that was used for a particular track at the recording stage? Much Love to people and I hope to hear from someone that can enlighten me. Thank You, G

Nice! When exported, are the files in chunks "takes" or are they consolidated into complete files? Does it start at the very beginning of the session? thx

your video does not address the issue of zero based time stamps for exported audio therefore nothing lines up. Why is that ?

Coming across this as an artist who records in Logic, and can't find an engineer who mixes in Logic to save my life, thanks for the video! Quick question, when you bounce a Logic session, is everything you have done in the project going to pop up in a different DAW the same way ? By that I mean if you did basic things on tracks like volume level, and panning, will your session be organized the same as you have it in Logic when it's bounced into ProTools or another DAW?

Ok but Studio one can export actual sessions so that you can import them into pro tools with clip locations, regions, meter, metronome and everything located on the timeline exact as your studio one session was. I think it's called AAF format. The people at Studio one made the absolute perfect pre-production software for music. I guess it's because some people from cubase went there to help with development and put the absolute best features of cubase, logic and ableton into the ultimate piece of software in the so called light and quick pre-production department that all those light daws are classified as.

Ah, yeah, AAF is great! I have a video from a couple years ago that's about exporting AAF files too. (I'm assuming this one isn't that video, lol). That's great you found a DAW you like - I haven't tried Studio One. Sounds rad though!

@@CatoNoise for sure. Although I still know that Pro tools HD/Ultimate is king on HDX systems! It's just non stop learning.

The DAWs need to make one button to bounce the dry, wet, and midi stems all at once
