Thank you for this video and being transparent I was feeling a little like I am so screwed because of our spending but I think I needed some kind of inspiration to just try again and then your video came up! Especially because I am one of those people that go shopping when I’m feeling really low and the past few weeks I’ve been really bad and I bought an iPad despite not even being able to pay off our credit card debt, it’s very bad and just wanted to just not even care about credit at one point but you brought me back to my senses lol! ❤

listen we are not going to give up! I’m an emotional shopper also but even more so I just love the feeling of buying stuff it makes me happy. And I knowwwww I should not buy another thing but then that will depress me so I just have to find that balance but while I do I’m still going to continue to budget and save. Ahahahah you will nit be alone if you watch my videos every week just spending and going over budget smh it’s embarrassing but it’s my real life what can I do. I’m not giving up. I’m not that perfect budgeter like everyone on KZbin 🤦🏽‍♀️ I’m trying tho lol

When you use the "big buffer" (your checking account) to cover overspending, do you put money back in the big buffer? Like, do you keep a certain amount at all times in your big buffer?

No I don't put the money back so I expalined in a few video that I do not always zero based budget so part of my pay goes i leave in my checking account after I budget for the bills and my cash envlopes and sinking funds. debt and any saving. I alway leave money in the acct because I feel it can be too much to have in cash envelopes in my house. I will eventually put it back in the bank
