You are just blind. Where he is topless there is no secret mechanism. That guy is promoting false eastern religions, he levitates. Also, another thing, you did not cover nude girls in your video. That is uncharitable. You were elsewhere sawing doubt to whether Pius XII was Catholic or not. That is Schismatical approach. You just don't understand theology. You are covering for a guy who promotes Voodoo and says spirit Desmond helps him. BTW, girl Rianna claims to be Catholic, or just comes from a Catholic family. (Don't know what she is claiming now.) But she is manifesting demonic possession, clearly. Chris Angel got possessed on stage, and did demonic stuff with a girl. These people are evil. Also Shin Linn, even if he done tricks, he promotes (just as others) a false religion of Magic. Whether they are sorcerers or charlatans, they mock Christianity, they hook people into demonic spiritual realm, and people then get hooked up into liking sorcerers like Gandalf (Lotr) or Harry Potter, Avengers, etc. A charitable video would be: sorry MHFM these are tricks, however, I am not taking from you, that these men promote false religions and some of them Voodoo worship. I recommend people watch: "What Is Zangbeto and Who's Inside It? W/ Gerard Richard Agbayanou" And you will see structures of straw moving by themselves on rhythm of Voodoo enchanters and drummers. This is real sorcery with help of demonic spirits. It is there, it is open, and it is extremely daring (just as some "Magicians" are in their video: Dynamo, Cyril, Blane, Special Head, and others.) Also, you have not even touched upon people like Dr. Oz. The fact that a guy on whom "magic" was performed hears whispering into his ear. You claim you can explain away, that all of the feats, are just tricks. But the fact is, you can't.

This might be the most schizophrenic cope comment on here, can't believe I'm only just now seeing it lol. I gave a well thought reason for why the levitation was likely staged, and your response is just "nuh uh", which tells me that you aren't willing to have your mind changed. Also, could you provide a time stamp for the "nude girls"? I might have missed something by mistake, but I don't remember that being anywhere in my video. I also don't know what you are talking about regarding Pius XII, but I've made it very clear that Pius XII through Francis are legitimate Popes and that we shouldn't claim otherwise. But regardless, you are simply continuing the bad logic outlined in this video (did you even watch the whole thing?). Arguments from incredulity are weak and I hope you put some more effort into your positions. There's a reason why the Dimond have been absolutely silent about this video and have refused to debate me on this topic.

I love this video because it really shows a contrast between stage magic and the miracles of Our Lord and Savior. In stage magic, the magician controls the situation and makes sure everything is set up just right in order to pull of the illusion. Our Lord, on the other hand, takes situations as they are redeeems them. In St. John chapter 9, he heals a man who has been blind his entire life, and the pharisees even go so far as to interview his family to try to find out some alternate explanation. No tricks, no angles, no controlling the situation. For me, illusionists really just show that Jesus was no mere magician, but was the true, Living, Son of God!

Actually, even if the Dimonds are totally wrong about magic tricks, and even if you think those who die as catechumens can be saved through Baptism of Desire, something needs to be said here. We live in a time when almost everyone, even Sede priests, think Hindus and Jews etc (people who have never heard of Christ and even people who have but dont accept Him) can be in the state of grace and can go to heaven. No saint or pope in Church history ever believed this. All these people have to present are a couple of fallible statements of Pius IX which don't even mean what they say they mean, and a decree of the Holy Office. Nothing else. We have ex cathedra teaching stating all who die as Jews and Pagans and heretics and schismatics, and even people among them who shed their blood for Christ, go to Hell. This is the main problem that must be dealt with, the main dogma which almost everyone rejects and tries to explain away.

I got done watching it and it was a very simple expose. You definitely did a good job imo and the fact their magicians video can be easily debunked shows that Michael Dimond is just lazy with research, which is weird considering he has all the time in the world living in that trailer park of a monastery. Either that, or they are deliberately lying to their audience, but I have yet to see evidence or a reason for this. The only thing I’ll say that you did miss is addressing their two quotes they often site about magicians, and how they’re not about magic tricks, but people curing disease without prayer or medicine, putting out fires without prayer or water, etc. Nonetheless, it was a simple expose of the Dimond Bros superstitious nonsense and you make a good point about how if the Dimond Bros can be so wrong on this issue, who knows what other issues they’re completely wrong about. It really shows the foolishness of people who put them on an infallible like pedestal.

This is a good video, and shows how people get far too carried away in their superstitions. Idk why Mhfm would lie to their audience, its not as if it brings in any benefit, since they dont make any money on their content. Nor does this give them some kind of control over their audience. Maybe they really just want to believe in the supernatural and see it l(not saying it doesn't exist) and thus used magic, for it. This is unfortunately just fearmongering. Any honest christian has to conceide that mhfm is wrong. But this doesnt necessarily suggest their videos on actual religion are flawed like this. This video is just irreligious superstition. Hey @Deuterocomical on minute 28:51 you say that there is is only 2 options, and that you would be extending the best possible option of sarabite mike being lazy. But you didn't include the version I am aware I believed when I was a dimondite. Why? You even say "If you have any other possibility, let me know" Is not as if you are obligated to put more options, but it seems odd to ask for feedback, get it from someone who was in the cult, and then dismissed it and ask again for feedback as if no other options were offered to you. At least you could had said "someone else told me another alternative, but that alternative was so crazy that I decided to not include it" which would make (sort of) sense, since many of the beliefs of the dimonds are weird. But anywho, I am just curious as to what led you to that praxis. If you had included my option it would had made your video more persuasive and fair and that could had helped the dimondites exit their cult. But now, with option 3 being deliberately hidden, I wonder what the effect would be on them, if at all. For instance, imagine the following. A person that is currently a dimondite is on this server. He reads this message today (as a dimondite that he is right now) and then, months later, he goes to other dimondites servers or group chats. If he just honestly reports what I told you, and takes screenshots, the dimondites would be able to so easily and persuasively claim that you were hiding info and their positions. And then from that to summarily reject your stance is not that hard It is a missed oportunity for sure. The 3rd position I mentioned is what dimondites believe, is what I believed. I don't know why would that be hard to include, coming from an ex-dimondite of 8 years. Also, think for a second about what your video did states: Opcion 1 is that sarabite mike is lazy, option 2 is that he is a conscious con man and liar for money. Really? If this was a work of fiction, the main villain would be very childish. No one (not you, nor me, etc, etc) thinks of themselves as a villain. We usually do things thinking we are right. Specially for public actions. And the position I told IS the publicly available position of the dimonds. Is the video itself. In that video, sarabite mike is saying, over and over and over and over that he is discerning the spirits, checking shows and giving you the very best examples of black magic. So, is kind of obvious that that's how he perceives himself. Sure, to you it sounds ridiculous and patently false, so perhaps you didn't even register his claims properly. But regardless. It makes the whole video kind of irrelevant within the niche that is supposed to help (dimondites and people who are inclined to the dimonds). It also is kind of worse once people become aware that I told you directly what I did tell you. Because now most people would think they have solid evidence that you are purposelly doing a hit job on the dimonds, a la CNN.

"nobody thinks of themselves as the villain" No. This is flat out wrong. The true version of this is that nobody can act without being oriented towards something they believe is good, but these are not the same. A man can knowingly and obstinately pursue a good he knows is fake, or significantly less than what he ought to aim for. An adulteress does not think she is a hero for betraying her husband, this is silly. Many people know what they are doing is evil, but do so anyway. That said, evil is objective. Even if you were right and everyone believes they are doing the right thing, that would have absolutely no bearing on the nature of their actions. Though it could potentially lower their culpability, it doesn't make the action anything but what it is

The fact that the only thing you are able to criticize is the thumbnail is a high compliment to me 🙂 Calling it a trailer park isn’t an error due to lack of a research. It’s called a joke (but I know Dimondites struggle with the concept of humor). To compare that to the errors Michael Dimond made in his magician documentary is a false comparison, unless you are claiming that his documentary was just one big series of jokes?

@@Deuterocomical No, it’s a lie. And again, you display your lack of research. I couldn’t care less about this garbage video or it’s contents, none of this has anything to do with my faith, it’s the opinion of MHFM based on their observations in addition to the words of the Catholic saints concerning “magicians”. And your trailer park remark is a lie since it’s constantly perpetuated about MHFM and it misleads people into thinking MHFM lives in a trailer park, which is false.

There is nothing uncharitable about defending the good name of innocent people (individually or as a class, and both happened in the DB's videos addressed here) when they are unjustly attacked - including when the people attacking them, shall we say, live in glass houses like the Dimond bros do. I subscribed twice as hard after reading your comment (though if KZbin buttons have become pressure sensitive to note the difference, I'll have to count that as one of the magic tricks.)
