I mean, yes, people took 3s when they were left wide open and Shawn Kemp had a really good deep middy game, but the goal wasn’t to get a 3 every possession or to have a “modern big”. Don’t get me wrong, the way NBA teams play now is the way to win games, but basketball provides no inherent value other than the costs associated with buying tickets or the tourism it generates and I’d be much more happy to watch 80s or 90s games recorded with a potato than modern NBA games recorded in 8K 3D 60 FPS

I play solo and I struggle to keep my status at Gold and Better. Between bad teamates and lag outs its really frustrating sometimes..make u not wanna play for real.. Got my new build up to silver and got lagged after a game with some complete idiots. Back to black in 1.5 games after playing 10+ with Good teamate grades. I think 2k makes it this way to frustrate you into making news build because that brown and black status does severely affect your experience online despite your skill. Finding a consistent squad that has chemistry is alot harder then people make it seem....

im not gonna lie i play random rec alot the black plate players be on some other ish like they be wide open but wait till the defender close out on them then they would decide to shoot or try to score in the paint on 2 to 3 defenders i call them mycareer players who plays nba games on rookie mode and go to rec and play the same way as they would play AI players in nba mode and yes i am a purple plate i play as a team by sharing the basketball getting everyone involve but every time i hoop with black plate players its always terrible unless i run into the one thats decent

I try to judge off of plate colors and rep. I get it not every gold and purple plate is a good player but a lot of them are by far better than black and brown plated overall. The only time I know they’re good is if they have a high rep if they don’t have gold or purple plates cause that just means they probably have a new build.

Nah if you Black or Brown plate over 20 games you just ass. You can hit silver winning half your games with a good teammate grade. I’ve played with bad golds and purples but I am sold CONSISTENTLY by black and brown plate players. I’ve lost games up 10 with a minute to go because the players just don’t have a baseline understanding of how basketball works.
