You know, I have been watching KZbin videos of the channel called "Jordan vs Lebron" I think it has like 1.9k subs or something like that and it inspired me to give you an Ole Head challenge... So... Michael Jordan had 38 regular season games where he had at least 40 points and did not attempt a single 3 point field goal. Ok, here is the challenge... Can you in a rec game score at least 20 points with a player 6'9 or shorter without attempting a single 3 where you can't score a significant amount of them by way of being the screener in pnr offense, because everyone already does that and I have no desire to watch the same thing for 4 years now (since 2k20) xD Just a suggestion. I understand it would be very difficult but it has widespread implications. Like you have these snotty nosed kids crying every September-November about not being able to hit open 3s until 2k finally listens to their crying and just nerfs defense and makes hitting 3s easier, thus ruining the game. But if you can fulfill this challenge, it's a definite message to these snotty nosed whiners that they don't need to be able to chuck 3s to contribute to the scoring load

Play them close. Don't sag and don't get caught up by the dribble moves. Stay still. They depend on you to follow them. That's were people mess up. You can always recover with a good angle on a drive, but if you get caught opposite your momentum, the 3 ball will be wide open. On screens break down. The closer you are to the ball handler on a screen the less the screen will effect you. I run point and I'm always looking to put my man under pressure. I'm on his hip on the inbound. Make them uncomfortable. I don't reach much either. I get bump steals. Keep a body on them when they cut to the basket. Defense is mainly about intensity and not losing focus. I will say though, when you play good defense, you'll have to work just as hard on the other end of the floor to get open, because they gonna try to play you the same way. Or they quit and if they quit you got AI 😂 So it's a double edged sword. Even with all that said, you still can have games where you get beat. It's just the nature of the game. This game is geared towards offense. Defense is at a disadvantage, especially on the perimeter. A really good player gonna get points usually. Most people aren't really good though. They have a handful of moves and that's it. They do not know how to adjust to pressure defense or lack the skill set to do so.

@LogicallyKnot8 ай бұрын
@@4432Highlights A good offensive player wants to get you moving one way and counter the opposite way. Using your momentum against you. Try not to over commit. The more you play the more you'll be able to guess when people are going to drive or take a jump shot. Yes, blow buys and bumps are basically based on what the game decides, taking into account each players overall build. As I said, the game is geared towards offense. Just don't over commit, keep your hands up and stay on your feet. The only time you should be jumping is if you're too far out to get a contest with hands up, or the player is in a layup, or dunk animation. Most of the time I don't even jump on a layup animation unless I'm behind them. As long as you're close with hands up the game will automatically give you a contest.
