I'm a white queer kid from a trailer park out in FL and I think Fred Hampton was one of the most heroic people God ever put on earth. He was so brave and ahead of his time that it's baffling. As an underdog I look up to him and wish he was still here. Humanity lost one of the sharpest minds/voices on the day he died. He was a BADASS, God bless Fred Hampton.

I am so tired of admiring people I think are amazing and highly intelligent then they get on mainstream platforms and drop the ball continuously. I’m so let down by numerous things killer mike has done recently. His arrest at the Grammys I believe was his introduction into the gatekeepers society of black leaders. You will see him more now but see his original messaging watered down more and more. Jess hilarious made bkfast club show waaay more ghetto I am not impressed.

What I love about chairman Hampton was he wasn't about selling his ideas and having them twisted and cherry picked. If he was alive, we would have President Bernie Sanders for 2 terms instead of 45. We as a community need to get therapy because We don't want to become our worst enemies. He wanted a better tomorrow , but I think because of the tension between the popo, it went south. His message passed on though.

Many of us working for big businesses are part of a union or trying to unionize. Small businesses are the hardest places to unionize, but stories of their brutality are well-known. @@justicetruth5456 Well I'm referring to the fact so many black people live in an emotional state. The say things like no "reparation no"" trump did more for black Americans then any other president, not true. Meanwhile the black so called Conservatives ( charlatans) pulling misinformation/ uninformed black people to vote for white supremacy. White supremacist NEVER have black Americans interest in mind Never not one. But somehow black Americans has this notion that the republican party in it present state is for black people. Totally not true at all. In fact if you go fact check issues like education, health care, crime, employment practices, in republican ran states like Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, Louisiana, and a few others, you find high crimes, lower education, health care, states with the most welfare 7 of the top ten states are republican ran states ect. But when people don't have a basic understanding of white supremacy and what they do and are still doing, the out come definitely won't be good for us as a whole.

Killer Mike doesn't even make music primarily for black people. The vast majority of his audience is white hipsters who casually enjoy hip hop, but only have a surface level knowledge of the genre. Dude had a fledgling career that went nowhere for like 20 years until he got together with EL-P and started getting coverage from white taste makers like pitchfork and av club, then started blow up seemingly out of nowhere. He's in that little sweet spot where he has just enough street cred to present himself as an "authentic black voice", but still safe and non-threatening enough to appeal to white casuals. But the music itself has always been thoroughly mediocre and forgettable. The minor success he found in his early career was all just because of his association with Andre 3K and "the dirty south", not because of anything interesting about his personality or musical approach.
