Hey Matt here, and I’ve pretty much been a full-time sales pro for 12 years… but of course anyone can be in sales for ages - so, what’s the big deal?
Well picture me in my lane working my sales game year in and out… and in that process steadily developing a steady swathe of selling skills that today is a bit of a super-power.
See, as these trusty skills grew - so did my commission along with it.
I went from selling $50/week fitness memberships… to $5K training programs.... to $100K coaching packages...
And these BIG ones, for some of the world’s most influential coaches, like Ryan Serhant from ‘Million Dollar Listing’ - and other heavy-hitters across different industries.
We have done the sales for or re worked the acquisition pathways for may companies including
Airwallex - Southern Hemisphere largest Fintech
Nuvia Smiles
LightSpeed VT
Ryan Serhnant
Vince DelMonte
Gym Launch
NCI Fitness
Exxon Mobile
401 Auto
Many More
By now you’re probably wondering about my methods, Lol! The lowdown is they’re a fusion of various selling models I’ve used over my career to now earn 7 figures a year purely from sales.
And, the coolest thing about it? These tactics are 100% slime and sleaze-free, and my goal with this channel is to share them with you.
So hey, I hope you enjoy the content enough to subscribe - AND - that in applying what you learn, get the flood of wins I want for you.
My mission is to give every salesperson out there access to world-class selling techniques so they can make great money, without having to sell a kidney to do so.

This is an incredibly insightful conversation about the SDR space and the importance of compliance. Matt's decision to build his own compliant SDR call center is a bold move, and I'm curious to see how it plays out. It's clear that the industry is changing, and he's ahead of the curve by creating a solution that meets the evolving needs of businesses and consumers. I'm definitely following this closely!

I cannot even imagine what it was like for Jeremy realizing that there is now way he can keep Matt. I think that both Jeremy and Matt did a lot for one another but this episode made it abundantly clear that Matt can no lobger be anyones 2IC. It is time for hom to do his own thing and I am unbelievably excited to see what the future holds for him.

It seems like the boys at 7th level got off-side on the regulatory compliance side of the business, and Matt took the fall. Marco as CEO, I'm not sure that is a good idea. Which is right up there with JM dropping the wife for his new squeeze - good luck with that one!

1000% amazing podcast 🙏 I had no idea about all those rules and regulations from the FTC and how 99.99% of the industry scrapes their numbers from the same place and how CRM's that are marketed cannot do the job. Amazing job to the GOAT Matt Ryder

this is such an insightful podcast , as someone with a call center and SDRs , with close crm and having to rotate DID's everytime they show as spam . It's crazy all the stuff you talk about, I make a good living because my 5-10 dollar an hour SDR in latin america makes the business more profits than their closers with 6 figures salaries. Thank God Canada is 5-10 years behind USA with regulations.

I know alllll about those FCC telesales rules. It’s a nightmare, which is why we have a compliance attorney to help. I’m sorry to hear you left 7th Level… you were really the backbone there. It won’t be the same without you there!

Great show @Matt and @Pat. Smart move to exit bc of the compliance headache. The FTC is corrupt as they come and most companies have no clue what they are doing when it comes to outbound.

Matt, I just want to thank you for all the wisdom you share. I admire your way of thinking and I want to learn how to become a kind of guy like you. Eventually I will get good at sales and I want to start my early sales career working for you. A guy like me with little to no experience is against the odds but I stand by what I said.

Im in the UK, but have always warmed more to Matt rather than Jeremy, probably due to the cultural similarities......however we all know NEPQ is a rip off of Michael Olivers Natural selling course....which Jeremy passes as his own. I really enjoyed learning from some of Matts insights. So will continue to follow.

I am disappointed Matt is soft on the FTC and calls them a net positive when they clearly act out of line and punish entrepreneurs. Maybe a net positive through their history, but shutting down mostly compliant sales businesses is beyond detrimental and is setting the western world back by decades. When will we stop accepting government malfeasance and fight for businesses? May be naive of me to expect from an Aussie, but I expected more of a backbone from Matt.

Interesting you say that relying on appointments from marketing is so difficult. Is this more industry specific? I would assume that most appointments are set via marketing and not by outbound follow-up. Typically that’s used as a bandaid for a lack of value added marketing. Thoughts?
