The EXPOSED Wildlife Conservancy Nonprofit!
In January 2016, we started the web series, Exposed with John E. Marriott, as a way to raise awareness about wildlife conservation issues in Canada and beyond, using images, video and story-telling as a means to engage you, our loyal audience.
In that time, you’ve helped our web series grow: we’ve reached more than one million viewers with our videos across Facebook, Instagram and KZbin, helping to shut down the trophy grizzly bear hunt in British Columbia and raising awareness about a host of other wildlife issues that we’re continuing to fight to this day.
The success of the web series made us realize that we need to put in even more time and more resources to keep our momentum going. We have so many stories and issues we want to tackle: more caribou coverage, more wolves, more bears, more habitat protection, and some spectacular and fascinating new projects on cougars and wolverines!
So we have decided to expand our reach even further by launching an EXPOSED non-profit, the EXPOSED Wildlife Conservancy, to help us achieve these goals and continue to help give our wildlife a voice.
‍The web series will continue, but the Conservancy will open new doors allowing us to partner with other eNGOs more easily, produce even more written and visual content on our website, and most importantly, let all of you help us if you want to donate to our campaigns.
The web series will continue as it always has - a documentary-style, no-holds-barred web series in which John tackles the most important and controversial issues in wildlife conservation in Canada and beyond.

Hey John and Crew, Well done on your view numbers of viewers over the years, my wife and myself have absolutely love watching the EXPOSED KZbin videos and have watched them over and over. We’ll keep on watching your new venture EXPOSED Wildlife Conservancy as we love the content and to see how wildlife conservation in your part of the world is handled. We would love to donate to your cause but Australia has had its problems with the bushfires that we had over Christmas time in the eastern states of Australia were some of the worst fires we have ever had at the same time of the year and they were burning for over a month. The bushfires in Australia have been such a catastrophic natural disaster (with more than 500 million animals and plants killed), it can be hard to imagine the full scale of the calamity. Reports have said that as of January 2, approximately 5.9 million hectares of land has been burnt in Australia. For perspective, that's more land than Denmark and the Netherlands. Hunting and poaching are not our problems in Australia like you have in your part of the world. Its fires and feral animals like cats and foxes. John, please keep up your excellent work and we look forward to seeing more EXPOSE videos. Thank you from Perth, Western Australia.

I love this John!! Hits close to the heart. Are you going to also work on the trophy hunting epidemic? My understanding is that Canada is the largest exporter of trophy hunted animals in the world. Love to hear your thoughts. Cheers!

It’s so awesome in this modern social media era that you can start a movement to stop hunting in order to build a brand and income for yourself.

Mr Marriott. I have been watching your videos for some time now. I respect your work and passion for wildlife, but what bothers me is that you aren't focusing on real issues and threats on wildlife. I don't think banning snares and hound hunting really solves any real issues. I think we should more focus on deforestation, oil industry and mining that are threatning wildlife of North America. I think hunters and general public should come together and combat these threats together. We shouldn't consider eachother as hunters and wildlife photographers, but as fellow conservationists.

Your talking to a brick wall my friend, us hunters are frowned upon and no one ever wants to listen to us even tho we contribute the most to the restoration of wild life, and then you got some chump that’s a so called “conservationist” but he really hasn’t even been farther than half a kilometre into the bush.
