Banff park should be expanded to allow the wolves to roam.

They are just mutations of brown bears.
@EXPOSEDWildlifeConservancy10 күн бұрын
You're absolutely right, they are a mutation, but of the American Black Bear. There has been some research suggesting their light coloration could help with catching salmon, as they can be harder to see.

Canada always was and always will be a 2nd rate democracy with sheep like citizens willing to give up liberty for security. Keep that stuff north of the border. I hunt, I trap, and I own firearms, most of this would be illegal in the liberal White North.

I’m beg to Differ ! I have Never in 30 years of trapping caught Any fur bearer about the neck ! ALL of my critters have been caught just below the abdomen,before the waist. Always alive and I had to dispatch them on my own. ALWAYS checked traps 1st thing in morning and just before night fall !!! Day in and day out !!! Minimum suffering as you claim !!! Y’all sound like tree huggers to me !!!

Trapping is going to be the least of humanity's problems, mother nature is in the process of eliminating all life on this planet, ECOLOGICAL IMPLOSION is now in progress , the end is not far away

Maybe a study of how many males are in the area's that are NOT making a recovery. Too many males will keep the population low by killing their own off spring. Taking some of the males could increase populations in these area's. THINK ABOUT THAT !!!

Ban trapping, ban hounding, ban trophy hunting and ban fur worldwide. The only hunting allowed should be ethical non-surplus hunting for food only. Evolve already.

"Humane" trapping is as much of an oxymoron as "humane" slaughter. We need to recognize that the other animals are here "with" us and not "for" us. Their interests must be part of the conversation. Otherwise, we'll just be regurgitating the same anthropocentric, speciesist and colonial narrative that got us into the dark place we find ourselves today.

I really don't see how one can make the argument that it kills quickly. Once in a while when conditions are optimal maybe but you don't have to be an expert to see that a lot of the time it'll take hours or even days, not much brain power is required for that. I'm not idelogically anti hunting but if they are to be hunted, use a rifle or at least a leg trap.
