I love the breakdown in the replay to show how they are most definitely NOT reacting to the scissor kick startup. It's also a great example of staying mindful in the game. There were quite a few times where you habitually did scissor kick (because it's a good move against a human in that spot) when you knew it would get DI'd by the script. My takeaway, the mental stack is REAL in fighting games. Hard to not autopilot things. Also, it's a good example of seeing an opponent's tendency (lmao, in this case) and then immediately thinking about how you would abuse their overuse of a move/reaction.

The exact same crap that Ken was doing happened to me yesterday in casual of all places with a Ken with no rank but could perfect parry me at the exact moment with the exact same move I threw everytime. Same combo string in the exact same way. First cheater I've ran into oin that game which is why I'm here had to be sure the guy was doing bs. Thanks tyrant

I found a cheater smurfing around in Platinum (he has a few Diamond characters) using an auto-DI and perfect parry script too. Dunno why people do this. Worst part is he uses it on all his characters. I watched all his replays and he would get destroyed in neutral, but somehow win with multiple perfect, frame 1 parries and immediate counter-DIs.

Ive only played this game for 100 hours and reached Diamond one star, i encounter this and perfect input counters. I thought wow good players but, the inputs are done FRAME ONE how in death's name. I'm at about 1640MR....and I noticed around 1700 MR and up it seems to be more rampant. And because of these types of people, I have no desire to play ranked. I had to turn crossplay off. It sux because there are a lot of players who are just that good, but I don't want to have to question good reads for cheating. Especially if I'm salty. I've played against PC players in the BH that are in Diamond and Platinum working their way up with the cheats/scripts. I couldn't beat them. Time to go back to the local arcade and play offline.

Cheating feels not so uncommon in SF6. The mechanics allow cheaters to fully thrive. I am seeing more and more ONLY perfect parries in matches regardless of my timings. What ever happened to playing with honor in fighting games? These cheating losers should go play COD.

@@tyrant_uk Yea I hope, I feel like the FGC being fairly small and disproportionately offline has been relatively protected, but with 2XKO on the horizon things might change. Capcom will be masively outgunned when it comes to cheat prevention, the cat and mouse cheat arms race is very sophisticated at this point kzbin.info/www/bejne/iKjdeqRmaduXZq8 has a good summary of where things have gotten to. Fortunately offline play is still such a big part of FGC, it will always bve more shielded than other games like FPS!

They can easily detect cheats by examining the inputs. If there is any data showing frame consistency in reacting to moves (e.g. always DI, perfect parry, jump within a frame window) and it's always perfect input (single button presses), combined with low practice time and high rank time, 99.99% cheating. It's really not that difficult because Capcom records all the fights and input info. They just need to run an analysis tool and they can catch them easily. They also have pro's input data to measure human reaction time as a baseline.

On top of how silly and pathetic it is to cheat, why make it so obvious? I'd set it to have a random delay of 1-8 frames on the auto DI, on only do it like 25% of the time or something. If it does it frame perfectly ever single time it's just too obvious. Also block that guy, lol. Don't rematch them. They don't deserve it.
