I bought the boom pass. I decided that I’ve been playing Boom for free for almost 10 years so I might as well give them some support. People are disappointed due to the lack of big updates but supercell needs players to spend money in order to justify spending more time and money on updates. I hope the pass gets more value in the future and more players purchase it. I think having a combo deal with IT could make more players purchase it. Hopefully Supercell takes fan ideas for future skins too. I think a bombardier that looks like Dr.T could be awesome.

The critters on the critter canon have to be on full health too, I've been extra energy drinking bullet on the npc bases to tick that off as well

Critters boxes and critters from the critter launchers are classified as troops fyi, so Bart them before you win.

Already finished all missions except armory, dives and op hits. I wouldn't recommend doing shallow dives to finish dives mission. There's more than enough time to complete 10 deeper dives and deeper dives give better treasure.

Boom Pass “value”: Skins aside, the time savings have value, but it’s linked to your play schedule. One could assume 3x sessions per day (and still progressing up levels) then estimate the diamond (or money) cost to do the same. It would be low accuracy, but you could calculate a number (or better, run same for several different assumptions and create a value range or chart or something.

I’d like to see boom pass to have a way to upgrade troops quicker because it seemed like it takes a long time to upgrade all troops from starting boombeach i still don’t have all my troops maxed and I’ve been playing for years 😊

I bought the boom pass. I’ve already gotten the 1st 20 rewards. To get the one for using the hero only I just used Bullitt and energy drink on NPC bases as you suggested. I like trying to complete the missions. It at least offers some new challenges. I’m close to getting the one for sculpting statues.

Great vid! I got the pass for the experience and I haven’t been too disappointed. Exceptions are that I think I missed the skins -I don’t see the option. The critter glitch is a pain. I’ve done all the tasks except dives & 100 health. (Tried dumping mad med kits & kavan w/ healing critters to no avail) Non gripe is I blew thru all my hero tokens on the robo-trader gal! That was fun. Got my monument up to 95. Was happy to get powder and parts for my weapons lab as I’m max lvl and I use the Proto+Bldg health combo. Too early to say if I’ll get it again next time but it’s been interesting & engaging so far. I completely agree that it should include IT in the bundle. That could make or break it.

29 per day from your task force, 7-14 from supply chest, warship chests, archipelago chests, defenses. Easy to get 50+ every day. Lemme know if any of those aren't clear.

For some reason critters also count as troops because I couldn’t complete the full healf mission using critter launchers. It must be a bug right ? Maybe not the “pink zombies” but critters… I did not buy the boompass by the way, which hurts me a little because I really like the tank skin (but 8 bucks for a troop i probably won’t use very often is too expensive).

I raised it as a bug with the dev team. I agree 100% that critters shouldn't count. Here's my wording: The 'Win With Full Health' Mission in the Boom Pass takes the health of Critters into consideration. This seems like a bug as Critters can't be healed and are used to keep your actual troops/hero alive.

I have no interest in buying the boom pass, no interest in skins, no interest in doing any event that causes me to go higher in rank. Several months ago, YOU yourself told us, Don’t go high in rank, it’s not worth it cos you are constantly raided.

I’ve never once said not to go higher rank - I’ve said higher rank you get raided more, still easy to complete upgrades, just more time in game. Players who don’t want to play on hard mode stay below 480, players who like a challenge go higher.

Under NO circumstances buy Boom Pass if you are a maxed player! They gave old timers NOTHING! I am ready to walk. Boom Pass does NOT Include Instant Training so for maxed players, its worthless. My little group of people I love teaching and helping Tell you what, give me back my First group but let me keep my small one. Stolen crew..but I buy in every month for decades.

The boom beach community has spoken and they vastly disagree with you. Boom Pass is incredibly popular so far and although I do agree with many of your points you have to understand this is version 1 and people value skins (even if you don't).

instant training is a proven winner - people buy it consistently, find value in it and enjoy it. Bundling it with the Boom Pass would either increase the cost of IT (bad) or give extra value to the Boom Pass (also bad from a business standpoint). I do feel they will need to prove that Boom Pass has value but if they can do that by having it standalone all the better.
