I don’t know, I’m not a catholic but when I was in the new age I was in a very dark place. One night I prayed to Mary & Jesus for help. That’s all I knew from school. That night I was saved. I was pulled out of the darkness, my eyes were opened to the new age, within a week I was attending church. 1 year later my family (husband & children) are born again, baptised Christian’s. My children go to Christian school and attend church with us every weekend. Our entire life is devoted to the lord. The catholic religion may have some false doctrine but from my own experience praying to Mary & Jesus saved me. I also know that my then 4-5 year old son was having severe night terrors. I was still in the new age but Gods hand was over my family. After trying everything in the new age it obviously only made his nightmares worse. One night I told him about Jesus and his mother Mary. He wanted to see photos so I showed him pictures I could find on the internet. That night he was in the middle of a night terror and he screamed out Mary. His night terror stopped. Now that we are Christian’s he doesn’t ever really mention Mary however she was the stepping stone out of the new age.

Mary wouldn’t have anything to do with saving you that would be entirely Jesus so you should teach your son the correct way of approaching the throne of God . The only way to God the father is through Jesus Alone.Mary would be the deception being passed down to the next generation that’s why he said her name so you should rebuke anything that isnt the name of Jesus. God saved you now it’s your job and duty to walk the narrow path and that path consist of 1 bridge .christ .thank god&repent

Is it a sin if we ask Mary to pray for us? And is it a sin if you pray for somebody who ask you to pray? Please understand that Mary and Joseph are chosen by GOD. And they are the first Christian who do the will of GOD.

How can Mary be a perpetual virgin (CCC499) when Joseph had relationship with her after the Lord Jesus was born? Matthew 1:25 Douay-Rheims Bible And he knew her not till she brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS. World English Bible and didn’t know her sexually until she had given birth to her firstborn son. He named him Jesus. Dictionary: till (until) up to (the point in time or the event mentioned); until. "I went to bed at 8 last night and slept till 6.30 am. Question, was I still asleep after 6.30 am or was I awake? Firstborn son or only son? Luke 7:12 And when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold a dead man was carried out, the only son of his mother: and she was a widow. And a great multitude of the city was with her. Isaac has two sons, the firstborn is called Esau and the second is called Jacob: Genesis_27:32 And Isaac his father said unto him, Who art thou? And he said, I am thy son, thy firstborn Esau. Why would Mary need to be a perpetual virgin when she is married to Joseph? What is the significance or purpose to be a perpetual virgin? Is it a sin for Joseph to have sex with his wife, Mary? Is it unholy for Joseph to have sex with his wife, Mary?

Change is not always indicated when using the word Until. For example, in 2 Samuel 6:23, Saul’s daughter Michal scoffed at King David's dancing before the Lord's arc as it entered into Jerusalem, and we read that she had no child “until” the day of her death. The underlying word in the Greek is the same one used in Matthew 1:25: Heos. There are other examples where the word until does not imply a reversal. I'm not sure what you mean in your comments about the Firstborn son. The Catholic understanding about Jesus's brothers is that they are either the sons of Joseph from a previous marriage, or they are cousins. The Greek word for brother can mean blood siblings, half brothers, cousins, or brethren in the generic sense such as how Christians call themselves brothers and sisters in Christ. With regard to why perpetual virginity? Well, because it is true, for one. It was pretty much universally accepted through all of church history up to the reformation. Even most of the reformers accepted this doctrine. The Protoevangelium of James explains that she was dedicated to the temple and Joseph was married to her as guardian. And this explains why Mary asked the Angel, "How will this be since I know not man". First of all, she was already engaged with Joseph. In Jewish tradition, this was already considered full marriage and sexual relations could already be engaged in. The husband was expected to leave the home of his parents at this time to establish his own home. Bringing her into that new home was the final stage of marriage. So for her to say, "How will this be since I know not man" shows that she ruled out normal sexual relations with Joseph as a possible source for this baby's conception. But, you ask, what is the significance or purpose of being perpetually a virgin? Jesus himself advocates it when he says, “Not all men can accept this precept, but only those to whom it is given. . . . There are those who have made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. He who is able to receive this let him receive it” (Matt. 19:11-12). So perpetual virginity is done for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. And Paul goes on to elaborate in 1 Cor. 7:32-35, 38: "I want you to be free from anxieties. The unmarried man is anxious about the affairs of the Lord, how to please the Lord; but the married man is anxious about worldly affairs, how to please his wife, and his interests are divided. And the unmarried woman or girl is anxious about the affairs of the Lord, how to be holy in body and spirit; but the married woman is anxious about worldly affairs, how to please her husband. I say this for your own benefit, not to lay any restraint upon you, but to promote good order and to secure your undivided devotion to the Lord. . . . So that he who marries his betrothed does well; and he who refrains from marriage will do better." And I think this answers your questions: Is it a sin for Joseph to have sex with his wife, Mary? No. It would not have been a sin. He would have done well. But by remaining abstinent, he did better. Is it unholy for Joseph to have sex with his wife, Mary? No. It would not have been a sin. @@danielcarriere1958 2 Samuel 6 vs 23 is about her live time - 2 GW So Saul’s daughter Michal was childless her entire life. It should be written as they didn't have sex till their death. Firstborn and only son are two different things. Why does she need to be a perpetual virgin? What is the significance of it or purpose of it? Is it wrong for Joseph to have sex with his wife, Mary?

He that can take, let him take it. Eunuch - abstaining from marriage and sexual relations, typically for religious reasons.

I wonder if you would discuss the idea that Jesus’ brothers were Joseph’s children from a previous relationship, maybe he was divorced, perhaps his wife died and then he married a young Mary, is it not possible that if that was case, that those men could also be considered Jesus brothers, step brothers instead of half brothers, relatives cause their parents were married, there’s somethings in the Bible it doesn’t say, specify or make clear which is why it needs some explanation, does it mention that those were Jesus younger siblings from his mother and Joseph, when you meet with other Christians you call them brothers and sisters even if you’re not directly related, even though we all come from some descendants of Noah, when they told Jesus look here you’re mother and brothers he said who is my mother and brother, these are my brothers, sisters and mother the ones who do my fathers will

Firstly we don't make assumptions, mary had more children according to the bible, secondly by referring to who His true mother n brother are it includes mary coz if mary ddnt consume to faith I'm Jesus sje would've been damned
