In Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan 1983 my Missionary Comp and I were being followed around by an ex-missionary, ex-Mormon who would knock on the doors of anyone we spoke to or taught and leave anti-literature. I experienced twice as many baptisms in that area than what I experienced the rest of my mission. They felt an immediate difference of feeling the Holy Ghost or Not. A remarkable memory I'll never forget!

I had a seminary teacher and she gave this one bit of advice that i have never forgot. She said, if you ever feel the discouragement or darkness, or influence of the adversary in your life , say " in the name of Jesus Christ, get thee hence Satan." I've had to draw out the big guns a few times, and she was right. It works with immediate results.

David this is so well said. I watched a dear friend as she latched on to this type of corrupt communication. She immediately came to me and said we’ve been lied to. I tried to tell her to turn away but she wouldn’t. I sent her conference talks and she refused to listen. It is heartbreaking to watch the results of these choices and the damage that is caused. The power of keeping our covenants cannot be overstated. Thank you for your valiant testimony of Jesus Christ and the restored gospel. ❤️

Do not leave the covenant path because leaving the covenant path leads down into the Road of Apostasy. And we know that because the foolish virgins were cast out of the presence of God because they failed to repent of their own apostasy they were too busy chewing instead on all the dead rats and then just like in Cinderella soon as the clock struck midnight and began to chime, the the time was up. You have to be found on the covenant path with the wise going in the door before the clock begins to strike at midnight. BEFORE THE CLOCK REACHES MIDNIGHT... Do not put yourself in the position of the Rabbit in Alice and Wonderland 'I'm late, I'm late, so very very late.'' Because when the clock hits midnight and begans to chime, then its too late to rush back to the covenant path. So you have to get on the covenant path and stay on the covenant path so you can get in the door in time before it is shut. Once all the wise virgins have gone all through the door, the door will be shut. So there is a SET TIME that door remains open. It won't stay open forever.

When the Book of Mormon first came out there were apparently around 200 anachronisms (things that can't be explained at the time), now, it is down to a handful. @@dr33776 So tell us you are ignorant about first temple and basic Biblical research. And yes. roads and cities have been found in Mesoamerica. Isaiah has been found to be so thematically interconnected throughout that the deutero and tertiary Isaiah theory is weak. The long ending of Mark is found in early and later manuscripts though often not. However, as the manuscripts we have are a few hundred years beyond where the original was written (which we don't have any Biblical original manuscript), we don't know what the original was. It is thought though that it is not, but that is the current best guess. The Lord providing the temple text of the Sermon on the Mount is not surprising in the Lord providing the higher covenants and ordinances of the Gospel to the Nephites as He did with the disciples in the Old World. Very weak antichrist literature criticisms. However, the antichrists like to prey on the weak, ignorant, and unknowledgable.

One instance that made me say, "Get thee behind me, Satan!" Was after I had watched a KZbin Short of Mormon Stories. I hate recalling the story, but the short was of a woman who had a bad (personal) experience at the temple. Her statements brought questions to my heart. I felt a heavy burden in my heart and I couldn't shake it off. I got down on my knees and prayed in my bedroom. I prayed for minutes, asking for answers. But I then said what I had recently started saying in my prayers, "Not my will, but Thine be done." In that instant, another phrase came into my mind and I felt inspired to say it. "Satan, thou deceiving angel, in the name of Jesus Christ, I command you to leave this home and tempt me no longer!" Immediately after I said that, the oppression I felt was gone. I couldn't remember, I couldn't put what had bothered me so much intonwords anymore. It was simply gone. As I stood up, I looked around my childhood bedroom. And on the bookshelf, there rested a small picture frame of me standing in front of a portrait of my Savoir and Reedemer. The picture was taken when I was 8 years old, Immediately after I was baptized. Never again will I ever doubt. For God is with me; He is my Strength. Thank you for listening to me. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, eho has done so much for all of us. Amen.

I'm a convert to the Church from the secular world, who was born into a non religious home without any preconceptions about God. Since my conversion, and after seeing members leaving who were born into and raised in the Church and even some missionaries leaving the Church, it occurs to me that they played along to get along. And so they are easy pickings for the adversary. Their testimonies weren't testimonies at all, but were only parroting of others testimonies. So the Church didn't fail them. They failed themselves and the Church by faking it. So their fakery ran its course, they dropped off, and now have to fault the Church as a salve to their own vanity. Like Peters testimony that God lives and Jesus is the Messiah, a true personal testimony from God is crucial to withstanding the gates of hell. And I think that's what the Church is facing with this nonstop onslaught of criticism and sophistry. What gets me is that those members who the adversary has and are peeling away, are good people for the most part. It's not like they're spies or moles. As a convert, I see the Church with fresh eyes. I am not raised in or steeped in doctrine, habit or Church tradition. My conversion is likewise not founded on doctrine, reason, reading or hearing or anything about the physical Church. It is strictly spiritual from the intercession of Gods spirit who awakened me to a remembrance of him and showed me in vision that the Missionaries are his servants. By this I know that everything about the Church is true and of God. I know that true life is in God, rather than in myself or my life alone. I know the Missionaries are his servants, and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is his true Church. But we all have to know this for ourselves. If we merely believe it, it will not sustain us in the long course. It must be known in our hearts and souls. Otherwise we are like the foolish virgins without oil of our own.

The Church is like a great caravan-organized, prepared, following an appointed course, with its captains of tens and captains of hundreds all in place. What does it matter if a few barking dogs snap at the heels of the weary travelers? Or that predators claim those few who fall by the way? The caravan moves on. Is there a ravine to cross, a miry mud hole to pull through, a steep grade to climb? So be it. The oxen are strong and the teamsters wise. The caravan moves on. Are there storms that rage along the way, floods that wash away the bridges, deserts to cross, and rivers to ford? Such is life in this fallen sphere. The caravan moves on. Ahead is the celestial city, the eternal Zion of our God, where all who maintain their position in the caravan shall find food and drink and rest. Thank God that the caravan moves on! Bruce R. David, perhaps a question we should be asking is, "Why does God allow antis to not see the Truth" and for you and me personally, "Why did God not allow either of us to see the Truth for 47 years?" My answer, in my case, is that God was honoring the desires of my heart. My heart for my 47 years was not for the Truth, but for a version of the Truth that included my own distortions. My own version exalted common among Protestants idea that I could be a good Christain by knowing doctrine well, rather than actually doing as we are directed to do. So God allowed me to live in that world that I created. As soon as I started doing the Word of God seriously, by feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless, and praying for the prisoners, I found myself receiveing the baptism of fire and the Holy Ghost and then a miraculous directive from God to join the Church of Jesus Christ, of Latter-day Saints. So perhaps our criticism of antis should not be of what they say about us, but of what they fail to do for others? What good works are coming out of Apologia, Mormon Stories, etc? There is one Truth and one Reality. All else is the imaginations of men who try, vainly, to create their own kingdom rather than participate in the Kingdom, of Jesus Christ. We can live as Jesus did, that is the best we can do. Your humble lifestyle is as Jesus, therefore your words go forth as did His. Thank you for continuing to be the inspiration with which I start most of my days. Keep up the great work. Your subscribers will one day vastly outnumber all the antis! Convince all to let Kingdom come sooner by not just giving intellectual consent to the Truth, but by doing the Truth, serving those around us continually. His true followers are known by their love for one another. Serving others is the Way of Jesus Christ.

In our testimony meeting yesterday…. WW Phelps was brought up… the composer that penned the words to Praise to the Man… He mentioned that Mr Phelps and Joseph Smith had such a deep falling out that he sent the letter to authorities that imprisoned Joseph in Liberty Jail… one of the most trying experiences of Joseph’s young life. From that experience gave Joseph the 121 section of the Doctrine and Covenants… one of the most profound and beautiful sections of the doctrine and covenants And WW Phelps repented and when he came back… Joseph “frankly forgave” him. Our church history is filled with these inspiring stories..: that start as something that doesn’t seem inspiring… but the Lord allows us agency. He doesn’t protect those he loves from trials … because in the end… it will be for our good… if we stay close to the true spirit of God. David, I just love you so much. It's wonderful to know I have a brother in Christ like you. I love converts and their conversion stories. One man in a past word told me that once he started reading The Book of Mormon, he couldn't put it down. That kind of stuff makes my heart swell with love and the Holy Spirit of God. Your videos do the same thing for me, and I thank you for this. Admittedly, I've waxed and waned in wondering if The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was God's church. Much of my doubt came from very aggressive LDS Church haters on my mission in Central Florida. I'm a musician who at one point said "...if I can't get a solid revelation of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon and the church as an organization anointed by Christ Himself, I'm leaving my mission and moving to California to become a full-time musician. As it seems obvious, I received my revelation based on Moroni's challenge and am so grateful for this. There are times when I do wonder about things, but often put it on the shelf for later. When I do have questions though, I remember my witness of the Book of Mormon. Also, as one who chooses a profession requiring extreme logic (computer programmer), many things need to fit in my head logically. So far, whenever I have prayed for further enlightenment, I've received it. I have to make an effort and do some research, but I always find what I need, and then some. After approximately 40 years of study of the standard works, early Christian writers, etc., there is no question that the only religious organization that even comes close to what was established by Christ anciently is His modern church: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Those who fall often seem to be looking for an excuse. They often don't do their studying or search for answers from the positive side. Fair LDS is an invaluable resource. I also have found more contention from existing members than outsiders. But this was foretold, that before the return of Christ, the church would have an apostasy. Not a complete apostasy, just of members leaving due to doctrines of devils, and so forth. Many are using their agency to choose the world, this LGBTQA++++ push as a reason to leave because they want to tell the church what to do. Others simply have very bad reasoning and logic skills. Anyway, love ya man. Keep up God's work. I do wish I knew the bible as well as you do, but I'm working on it. On my mission, there were things I saw in the Bible that solidified my testimony of the restoration. This often makes me wonder why more "Christians" don't read their bible rather than listening to a pastor who cherry-picks the bible to make it say what they and their apostate doctrines want it to say.

There’s a difference between making mistakes and lying on federal tax documents over the course of 20+ years…a small mistake like that means a slap on the wrist for the church. For you and me it would mean prison time.

Great video! I lost a man I loved due to CES. He is so lost and so anti. I love daily Book of Mormon reading, attending the Temple 2 or 3 times a month. I love missionary work and sharing The Spirit of Love with the contacts the missionaries meet in my ward location. I’ve been filled with the Spirit every day. Why people choose sin and anti propaganda over following Jesus and enduring to the end. He says his decisions are made with fear. So sad.

Same thing happened to me back in the mid-nineties. We are still together but we are far apart on religion. Somehow we have made it work though. We went to the open house of the Orlando temple and as we were getting in our car to leave my niece opened the back window for one of those anti LDS people and that person slipped a flyer into the car as we proceeded home halfway back to Jacksonville, we were all members of the church. By the time we got home I was the only one left, everybody else read those pamphlets, and that was it, to this day.

Kelly that is devastating. When our loved ones read CES etc trash, they mistakenly believe The Church is not true, they believe this allows them to choose sin. Their minds are then clouded and closed off to truth. The pain I feel for them is so heavy and I often have to give it to our Father in Heaven. I prayed for you and your family. I’m so sorry 😞. I’m glad life is long and there will be many opportunities for them to return in this life. What a perfect gospel, that they can still return after this life, thanks to Temple’s. Yes the persecution has ramped up we were warned that it would and that is why we must endure to the end. It will be sad for the anti people because they are truly lost. We need to remain strong and to have the faith to get through it. I had someone say to me once you are such a good person and I want you to be with Christ. I said the cornerstone of our church is Jesus Christ. It is his Church. The JW's tried to convert me but I just brought out my Book of Mormon. Alma 24:30 "And thus we can plainly discern, that after a people have been once enlightened by the by the Spirit of God, and have had great knowledge of things pertaining to righteousness, and then have fallen away into sin and transgression, they become more hardened, and thus their state becomes worse than though they had never known these things." Mormon Stories et al. seems to pride themselves in digging up the modern Judas Iscariots of the world who were once called to holy callings. These are people who fell to their own pride and were unable resist the calls coming from the great and spacious building. It's sad to see. Say your prayers, read your scriptures, keep your covenants, attend your meetings, Love and serve God, Love and serve others, and enjoy the fruits of the spirit and the Love of God. After living all of that. If anyone feels the need to watch that garbage, please be willing to do your homework and not take their word for it. There is no foundation to any of the well-written lies these people frequently vomit all over the internet.

We've been raised as human beings to think that all of the thoughts that stream through our mind are our own. They are not. Every single thought that is negative about yourself or others are put there by an evil or unclean spirit. All thoughts that are good about yourself or others are put there by a good spirit. Thoughts are energy, just like our spirits. We are in a sea of energy where thoughts come from everywhere. Knowing this can give one an advantage at the very real spiritual war that is going on right now! Even if you think your not in a war, trust me, you are! The unknown and unseen adversaries are the hardest to battle. They are like unto parasites. Start to pay attention to the thoughts that go through your mind/spirit under this context and you may have a big light bulb moment. I did! For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

I have many favorites now, each with a different focus and specific target audience, with some having a more general appeal than others. I agree with your assessment of the anti-LDS youtube channels. Our fast and testimony meeting and ward conference before that, told the whole story for us here, gave us the answers for what we deal with in our area. If you want answers, listen to your leaders and learn from the humble who believe in repentance and forgiveness (forgetfulness too) who hang onto the Rod of Iron that goes to the tree of life, and love of God….thar spreadeth itself abroad, and goeth forth to all nations, that we should develop for each other, like grandparents did, and our parents tried to do, and did as well. Learn to recognize pride in yourself, as well as other wrongs, and repent. Once you repent, the Lord has said, “I remember them no more.” Love 💕 and be loved.

Many years ago, when I was a missionary in Argentina, I came to a cross-roads in my life. I was out with my companion doing what missionaries do and I was a little discouraged, and some anxiety come over me that I was condemned because I wasn't really feeling the Holy Ghost in my missionary work. Back at our apartment, feeling pretty low, I laid on my bed, praying for help and forgiveness and that Heavenly Father would give me the Holy Ghost. After several days, feeling somewhat better, I went back out on the street with my companion, but I never stopped praying for the Holy Ghost to be with me; and little by little I started to feel the Holy Ghost come over me now and then, to help me. Here is a scripture that lends some insight: Doctrine and Covenants 42:14 And the Spirit shall be given unto you by the prayer of faith; and if ye receive not the Spirit ye shall not teach. I love prayer. Prayer to Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ is power. And I love the Holy Ghost and pray for it often.

1) Heavenly Father says in the Bible that there is going to be a restoration in the last days… when I am attacked I ask if every word of God is going to be fulfilled, even his word on the restoration 2) the next thing that happens is a personal attack on Joseph Smith… I bring up all the people from the Bible God has used to fulfill his plans (Jonah, Jehu, Nebuchadnezzar, Saul etc) I point out that because of the fall all God has to work with is men under the effects of the fall, then I ask if that is even an impediment to God 3) the next thing that happens is they attack the church itself… at this point I ask if it is a church that Salvation comes from, and when you concentrate on the fruits of the church only you can clearly see this church is following Christ Only Christ has been perfect, nothing and no one else can be Church is for the purpose of fellowshipping and comforting each other as we wait for the return of the one through whom Salvation did come from 4) at this point I am just yelled at for any and all random things that pop into the mind of the person speaking to me with no effort to even allow me to respond And which behavior is Christlike?

@@vendingdudes Here is my list, I use the ones for each situation that matches with whatever the person I am speaking with is already bringing up, there have been times when I used all of them in one conversation… •Isaiah 29:14 •Matthew 17:11 •Acts 3:21 •Ephesians 1:9-10 •Revelation 14:6 •Malachi 4:5-6 As you can see there are more than three references, and all you need is one to make this point, and depending upon how hard the heart of the person you are speaking with is, these at least gets them to take notice… I am sure there are more and I am just not aware of them, originally I was only looking for three but then found these six, because Heavenly Father always gives you double what you asked for and/or need, when it is a righteous thing that glorifies him and his great love for us I hope this helps…

This was a very insightful video. I especially appreciated your point #7 about knowing who the communication is of. I think that is such an important point! I remember hearing John Dehlin say that he heard a voice telling him to start the "Mormon stories" podcast. He seems to truly believe that it was God telling him to do it. We can clearly see that he didn't understand who the communication was of. Have you heard of Denver Snuffer? He apparently put on his temple clothing at home and sought fervently for a visitation from Jesus Christ. He claims to have been visited by Jesus Christ, but he went down a road of apostasy and now is considered a prophet amongst his small group of followers. I first heard about him on the come back podcast with Ashly Stone. A lady was on the show talking about how her whole family had left the church and joined the Denver Snuffer group. She told how her parents marriage had greatly improved, which puzzled me for a while. It seemed like good fruit had come of this apostate group. But any good fruit wasn't lasting. Her family members are not doing well now. All this to say that people would be very wise to take your advice and be sure it is the Lord's voice they hear and not a communication meant to deceive and derail and destroy.

Hello, David. Excellent video, I really enjoyed your 9 points. One of my favorite sections of the Book of mormon is found in Moroni 7:5-19. It basically teaches how to discern truth- to know the difference between good and evil. So, according to verse 17, anyone or anything that persuades you NOT to believe in joseph smith and NOT believe in the Book of mormon comes straight from the spirit of the devil. We can have a PERFECT KNOWLEDGE about that. Apologia, mormon stories, ... are teaching from the spirit of the devil . The Book of mormon makes this perfectly clear..."FOR AFTER THIS MANNER DOTH THE DEVIL WORK, FOR HE PERSUADETH NO MAN TO DO GOOD, NO, NOT ONE; NEITHER DO HIS ANGELS." NEITHER DOES APOLOGIA, MORMON STORIES, UTAH APOLOGIA, ETC. Would love to know your thoughts....keep up the great work you are doing.

The term you used, "poised intuition," is well said. I've noticed recently, after being exposed to a few years of anti-LDS podcasts and other similar media, that brothers and sisters who leave their faith, especially after immersing themselves in the many "voices" out there, lose confidence in the direction of the Spirit, lose confidence in their own intuition as a guide. Hence the phrase, "poisoned intuition" is a good description of what they may be experiencing.

CES Letter, Mormon Stories, Apologia Studios…ALL Exposed ! 1.How do we know what communication to engage with? Is the communication Praiseworthy? Or is it Accusation…False compassion…believing the worst, instead of the best about those we should love enough to look up to, not down on..? 2.Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me” John 10:27. Do you hear Jesus Voice in the communication…a Voice of Love and Mercy worthy of following? Or something else? 3.Is it Wisdom from above? Or wisdom from beneath? James 3:13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. 14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. 15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. 16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. 18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace. 4.Does it assist in obeying Philippians 4:8? Or not? Phil 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. 9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. 5.Is the communication edifying?…does it ring true to the Holy Ghost, our constant companion? Or does it grieve the Holy Ghost? Is it corrupt communication or is it pure? Which is to say, does it help with the standard of proper communication in Eph. 4:29-32? 29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. 30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. 6.Is it directed at the intellect? And claiming intellectual certainty about that which a humble person knows, it is not possible to be certain about at?…in short, is it proud? Or is it humble and appealing to the heart and spirit? Does it have the savor of love and mercy and humility and forgiveness and believing the best? Or do you smell a dead rat? A dead rat full of case-building, believing the worst, and accusation? 7.What Spirit…is the communication OF? Words…are not just embodiments of facts and opinions. Words carry a spirit…we have bodies, but fundamentally, we are spirits and we communicate in the spirit of whatever spirit or spirits we are connected to and are moved by… Luke 9:52 And sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him. 53 And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem. 54 And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did? 55 But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. 56 For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village. 8.Peter spoke to Jesus at one point…and his communication…was actually from Satan. Matt. 16:20-26 20 Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ. 21 From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. 22 Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. 23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. 24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. 25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. 26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? 9.Is the communication trying to inspire you to deny yourself for the sake of the Kingdom of God and for love of others? Or trying to get you to justify leaving the Path of self-denial via self-righteous indignation? With closest custody guard your heart, because from it are the issues of life…

A great quote I got from your link to the Public Square Magazine article: "And the antidote to these poisons of criticism and accusation is to see that these things sometimes have their place in discourse, but they are overrated as tools in truth-seeking, and utterly useless in leading people to God." If we are not leading people to God, what is our intent?

Thankyou David for all you do. Some of the sites you mentioned are so obvious with their feeling against the church. The one that bothers me the most is Paster Jeff. I listened for a few months. Then Realized he is a wolf in sheep's clothing. Or better like the spider and the fly. So l stopped visiting his site on a regular basis because l felt sick just hearing his voice. And when l heard he moved to Utah... That was beyond the pale. Why are our Brothers and Sisters being sucked into this so easily? Hoping he will see the light! I'm tired of hearing from other LDS sites saying what a great guy and friend he is. So l'm l missing something?

As someone you are trying to reach (I am a member, I go to church, I have listened to a few Mormon Stories and Paulogia but have not read the CES Letter) I would like to summarize what I heard. You really don’t like them and make several accusations about their character, you share some examples from other people who also don’t like them (also, the example of the person who is losing their marriage because they are questioning their faith to me illustrates a possible cost for doubting our faith but does not “debunk” any of the issues causing that doubt), Truth can be only found by following leaders of the church and by the scriptures/admonition of Paul (essentially the 13th Article of Faith), if someone says something that you don’t feel good about or you do not think that it leads to “good fruits” then it is proven false, you then read the titles of three sections of the CES Letter and pronounce them “bad tree, bad fruit. It is like the worst of trees.”, you then make several more very strong pronouncements on the character of these people and dismiss them as all “bad fruit”. Thank you very much for your point of view. I personally do not feel that this rose to the level of “debunking” anything but it was nice to hear the perspective of someone who has (I assume) looked into these things and, from what I can tell, still believes this is God’s Church and it has the ultimate Truth.

Thanks for your comment. Love...believes the best... The spirit of the Accuser...believes the worst. There is no need to "debunk" in intellectual detail....that which disqualiifies itself utterly...by the spirit that it is of. But of course...others may differ from this viewpoint, and that's fine. Much love, David

@@davidmalvinalexander ad hominem is a logical fallacy. Elder Christopherson talked about not wanting to believe something you don't like, in reference to moral relativism. If you don't actually debunk the claims of "anti-mormons" and just say that they're bad people because they make you feel bad you actually debunk yourself. All the sheep that watch your channel and refuse to confront evidence that the church is built on lies and deceit are continuously lead astray because you make them feel good. Well sometimes the truth hurts. Church leaders have been committing tax fraud for the past 20 years. Church leaders have been suppressing historical information in an effort to help people avoid uncomfortable truths. You have debunked nothing. Saying that those who believe differently than you is somehow debunking their claims is dishonest. That makes you a liar sir. Dispute the claims that people make, don't attack their character because it is irrelevant.

If all the slander was true, it is still worth everything positive to stay active in the Church and enjoy all the blessings. Keep going to Sacrament meeting, take the Sacrament, and testimony grows and recovers. A testimony of the Church is a testimony of Jesus. The emblems are blessed and sanctified to increase testimony of Jesus, thus the Church.

I became a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 12 years ago. Coming to this church was the first time I was taken out of seedling pot and put into fertile soil where my roots were no longer root bound in a small pot but was able to grow my biblical roots as far as I wanted. When I was in other churches, I felt like the plant stuck in a small pot which prevented my growth in the spirit. Christian Churches would teach me only "cherry picked" bible versus while neglecting the rest of the bible. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints nourished my biblical roots continuously while breaking up the soil so that my roots grew deeper into understanding the secrets of God's Kingdom.

David, as you have referred to, here is that prophetic statement from Joseph Smith about the future of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints: “The Standard of Truth has been erected; no unhallowed hand can stop the work from progressing; persecutions may rage, mobs may combine, armies may assemble, calumny may defame, but the truth of God will go forth boldly, nobly, and independent, till it has penetrated every continent, visited every clime, swept every country, and sounded in every ear, till the purposes of God shall be accomplished, and the Great Jehovah shall say the work is done.”

I've looked into many anti-LDS talking points. In every case, after doing research, I exposed every anti-LDS talking point as a mixture of truths, half-truths, and outright falsehoods intended to deceive. I no longer give ear to those talking points because they all follow the same pattern. There is nothing there to shake the testimonies of people who are firmly rooted in the faith. However, apparently the anti-LDS stuff is taking down some members. So sad.

Thank you for giving it the utmost respect that it deserves and thank you for standing up to the deceivers and naysayers. You are so awesome. To every single member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, our testimonies are way more precious than all the money in the world. Why are some of us tempting our testimonies when Satan is using every single means to try to take the most precious thing you have away from you??? When I see a sign at the beach that says "DANGER!! SHARKS!!! I heed the sign! Please don't let your curiosity get the better of you. Stay away from disgusting spiritual pornography in all it's many forms (yes, pastor Jeff as nice and personable as you present yourself, you're included too because we know what your goal is) that is wicked and shameful! The serpent in the garden sure seemed harmless to Eve, I kinda think that she underestimated him a tad......
