Back in 2011, I used to be a regular on the Bomb 1st forum, full of insight. Diddy has always been a controversial figure, but he's taken it to a new level recently. Case in point: why did he get a tattoo of 2Pac's skull on his chest? That move raises some serious questions. I mean, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn’t this reminiscent of The Book Scarlet Letter, where Hester Prynne had to wear an "A" on her chest as a mark of shame? Is Diddy branding himself with a legacy of guilt, or is he rewriting history in his own image?

Growing up in northern New Jersey, I was eight when Pac died and only just getting into rap music because of Biggie’s hits (who we admired the most in Jersey). I’ll be honest, at that age, I was petrified of Tupac. I saw him as a loudmouthed villain - I saw Big as the ‘nice, cool guy’. That was just eight year old me. When Pac and Big beefed, there was a black cloud looming over that’s hard to explain, but I could sense the danger metaphysically. Too much negative energy from the east/west rivalry and the last vestiges of ‘gangster rap’ spilling over to the streets. It’s in every sense a calling from God that our lord puts an end to the negative energy tormenting the soul. Their deaths were simply warranted because God said enough. It’s the same with Kurt Cobain of Nirvana.
