You guys make me feel like I'm hanging out with the boys again! It's a great feeling, since two of them are gone, and the other is estranged. Thanks for allowing me to hang out with the guys again! Absolutely love your podcasts and BMF! ❤ From a big fan

My two favourite KZbin creators in one video 🙌🏻 On the subject of TRT. I’m an ex recreational anabolic steroid user having competed a couple of times and having used various small dose cycles for holidays abroad and photoshoots. My natural levels never recovered and it took me over two years of perseverance with my GP and subsequent endocrinologist to get prescribed TRT. Even then, I had to guide the endocrinologist on protocol and the best Esther for my needs! It’s amazing how little is known about the treatment by our heath care professionals and the reluctancy to prescribe. I’m 42 now and o know 100% that despite my dedication to fitness/lifting and the lifestyle I’ve adopted to support my longevity it wouldn’t be possible without this treatment. Great work chaps ❤

Can I ask you a question please my friend, Iv recently turned 50 and was told last year that my testosterone levels are just below the average for someone my age by my gp after having all my blood tests done. I'm really skinny I think, I'm only about 10 and half stones but the thing is I really wana start going gym to get big especially upper body. Do you think I should use TRT , would it help or is it no good for someone my age, please and thankyou sam🙏
@fluoxetinejunky9 ай бұрын
@@Nowaday6 hey….. to start with, having balanced hormones across the board at any age is beneficial. Now, testosterone is a hormone that plays an important role is many functions of the human body which contribute to, but not exclusively, mood, metabolism, libido and of course, muscle development. IF you’re low on testosterone you should certainly look to implement treatment to bring you back to baseline. TRT is not widely understand by gps (in the UK anyway) so you either need to request to see a specialist (endocrinologist) or go private to a local clinic. Even with the endocrinologist I had to help guide them on specific test Esther’s and pinning frequency…. Good luck! 🤞🏻
@Alex-so1of9 ай бұрын
You don’t need to go on TRT. By taking the steps to gain muscle such as lifting weights, eating a high protein diet and getting a good nights sleep you’ll actually increase your testosterone level naturally. I know you want to focus on upper body which is fine, just don’t neglect legs. Out of all weight lifting exercises squats have the biggest impact on increasing testosterone/growth hormone levels in the body. So not only will you grow your legs, you’ll also help boost upper body gains. Take zinc and vitamin d alongside training to further support test levels and many other benefits you can look into.
@Nowaday69 ай бұрын
@@Alex-so1of Thankyou so much Alex , I really appreciate you replying back and I will 100% take your advice 👍
@fluoxetinejunky9 ай бұрын
I don’t fully agree I’m afraid. You can take every measure and step possible to maximise and optimise your lifestyle in an effort to to raise testosterone production, however that’s only going to effect the levels is a set genetic range. I had 200ng/dl essentially chemical castration! I’m now on TRT at 125mg a week and I’m comfortably stable at 720ng/dl….. and I’m someone who lives and breathes Heather and longevity. Hydration, diet, cardio, resistance training, sleep etc…. Everything is dialled in and that still didn’t increase test to levels to what would deliver a good quality of life

Regarding Ozempic/Semaglutide injections, it is a valid medical solution for weight loss, but as with all medicines, whether someone should take it should be determined after weighing up the risks. I'm ~30kg heavier than I should be, as a 5'9" 26yo male. Historically I've been eating too much and moving too little. I admit I'm slightly tempted by the idea of 'effortless' weight loss with something like semaglutide injections. However, there are real risks to taking it, and those risks just aren't worth it for me, or anyone remotely like me. I'm still capable of eating less and moving more, and I have the time to do it. But for someone that's 30kg overweight at 60 years old. Type 2 diabetic, and at risk of a heart attack or stroke, then maybe taking semaglutide is worth the risks. Their weight poses an imminent risk to their life, and the potential side effects of semaglutide, while not great, pose less risk to life.

Probably my favorite episode so far (Paul Smith was good too). You guys are doing a cool Y-chromosome secretly smart thing. Rogen is the master of it, of course. But what you're doing also isn't derivative of that. Also there's a meta- thing where you're conscious of the weirdness of "content creation" and how we're all conscious of it too. Anyway. It's clever. Kudos.

@magicmerl774910 ай бұрын
He's right wing in all of the bigotry ways: he's hostile to trans people, he believes in enforced monogamy (as opposed to women being independant) etcetc. Basically underneath all of the mysticism he shrouds his wisdom in (while also claiming to be a clear communicator), what it boils down to is traditional conservative beliefs.
