This IPL machine looks interesting! I have a older machine from another brand but it doesn't have the cooling effect. No cooling effect means a bit of pain sometimes from the heat the light produces. I used it for a few months, especially in 2019 to 2020, and it works! I've been busy with other things and too tired to keep up with the routine. All I can say is STAY CONSISTENT because it WORKS for anybody wondering. Years have gone by since I was consistent and there's barely any hair to remove from many areas. I also noticed a difference with body hair that was thicker, it worked a lot better on these hairs!

@@nightelfkid4421 I'd say it's generally safe and not scary if you follow the instructions. The times I've felt a burning sensation I've gotten some mild irritation that goes away the same day. No blisters or burnt skin. It could be bad though if you're using acids and retinol on the skin you want to treat with IPL, hence why instructions are important. Hope this helps!

​@@ayrenbethancourt9379 It's really old! I got it before 2019 but didn't use it until my epilator broke down. It's a Philips Lumea Essential. I don't think it's available anymore. Ulike and Kenzzi should be just as good today, they have evolved a lot.

You should get electrolysis on your chin hairs. These at home lasers work short term but for long term results you need to keep doing it and the in office treatments work longer because they are stronger. They’re not permanent- hormones can cause regrowth.

Ooh I'm going to be trying this. I had phenomenal results with the Tria 4x because it's an FDA approved at-home laser but the little zap burns! (It DID NOT burn me, it just zaps the follicle to the root and that part hurt even with cooling gel) so I'm so excited to try the cooling feature on this.
