I had never really interacted with Jen or Oath before this video, but, for some reason, they seemed to have quite the vendetta after dying in casual fights. Jumping duels, tossing siege after 4v1s, general BM, and blocking me out of who knows what lol. Very unbecoming of someone who preaches openness to the newer GW2 community. Shame, jen, shame. TL;DR = tragic.

I wasn't in much of this drama, but I was ganking you with some oath players one night and it seemed like you were trying to "bait" these clips by spamming emotes and even you gloating and sieging when you get kills when having more players. You asked for this, but really the only problem is that you try to paint a narrative of it going one way. Why not just make a montage of you farming oath and thats it? You can clout chase without being a hypocrite you know?

@Vallun TL:DR; I was met with extreme BM and salt with no reason for it to have started. Yes, you can really see me asking to be ganked as I sit observing duels lmao. On a serious note, as you said, you weren't there for much of it. I unfortunately was. I killed an oath (apparently a very self-inflated one) in a group vs group fight near bay and Garri. (nothing crazy for wvw here) then i eventually died in team fight (oh no i died i have to seek revenge womp womp) I come out of spawn to see the oath I had killed out of the group fight near spawn, so my assumption is they had gotten bursted and noticed I had done it and wanted to rematch outside of group. (I get that, I've had several friendly ppl do the same before and had very good fights/Dialogue with them) So, we start fighting and i was enjoying the fight, but when their hp got low several more oath appeared and i got whammied and immediately siege tossed on. I'm like okay, that must have been a fluke, oath is supposed to be a friendly respectful guild, so I go back out and see the same one oath close on the "duel area" of the island N of south camp and the rest of the group standing off a bit. Cool, I assume she told them she wanted to 1v1 and that's what I started doing, but again as soon as she was low HP I got bursted by about 4 oaths and siege tossed as well as BMed. So yes, at this point I was surprised and opened my recorder because I had no previous real interaction with the guildbase and was surprised as I heard they had a good rep for being friendly/respectful as one would expect of larger content creator-associated groups. If you think hitting /wave at a group of 6 who chased you to your objective and then sit outside waiting to gank you is equivalent to what Oath did above, then, I'm sorry, but you also have quite a toxic mindset. I was constantly Ganked the entire matchup and spammed with siege and BM. (In totality, I estimated around 20-30G worth of siege minimum) I can recall a singular fight where Oath was actually outnumbered in totality, and I did not BM there at all. Most of the fights they lost were at best even numbers with a geographical advantage (i.e. hiding by tower/keep port to ooc and rez) with a huge majority of the ones they lost being numbers in their favor. They represented themselves so poorly that nearly every roamer or small group i came across the entire match-up had similar stories and newfound distaste for what was supposed to be a respectful guild. Jumping duels is something I would not do, especially not to BM afterward. Point in case, I saw Jen and several other Oaths dueling after these events, and even in the face of their lack of respect for it, I didn't stoop to gank them out of some petty crushed ego move. It's a game, but the other toons are controlled by people, and that's more important to me than making my pixels beat your pixels. "Oh it's just a game it doesn't matter then." It's still based on simple respect man, If an action is well-known as being disrespectful (i.e. BM = Bad Manners) it's still being disrespectful to the person. Now have I ever Siege tossed ppl? Sure, I think everyone has at some point, but I never do it with ill intent. It's a game, and often, quite often, I will PM ppl complimenting them on particular combos they did or to ask about their strategy/build/etc. Sometimes even just to say Good fight! This is usually after I'm beaten by them, which happens alot as there are alot of skilled people in this game. Now if you're on a known cheese build like eternal stealth condi steal DE are you going to get kind messages? no, that type of playstyle is well known to be a form of BM in its own, but I'm not going to become extremely salty as i understand that mechanically i am at a disadvantage and most importantly it's a game. So overall, no, I don't see any of my actions in this scenario as being hypocritical, so hopefully this will instead act as a way for other players who were also surprised to be treated so poorly by someone claiming to be friendly and respectful a way to relate to each other; to hell with "clout chasing" If I wanted clout i woulda just made a video farming Oath and claiming to be a super skilled player because of it.

Yep, had my run in with her a few months back. Super salty.. Beating one of her guildies in a duel and when about to die, they kept running so far they reset. The minute I said your friend is running she's like "so what?" The claws came out defending her Forrest Gump friend. Didn't expect such an attitude from someone with a website and YT channel promoting builds and GW2. Toxic is the truth! Thanks for the great video :)

Jen and Vallun both paint a public image of being calm and unbothered by the "clout chasers" while allowing the guild they run to be one of the most toxic in WvW, right up there with QQ in their antics. I honestly think that they're probably perfectly nice people in real life, but then something happens to them when they get behind the keyboard in WvW and they become too full of their own crap to take criticism. I'm taking a short break from the game right now, but in the past I can't say I've ever had anything better than a neutral interaction with them, with the majority being poor and rude interactions.

well this video shows something that we all know in some way, JEN does everything on wvw that she says people shouldn't do, the worst thing is that she is super toxic and asks that people not be toxic and vallum also asks that her people are not toxic, but unlike her, I have not seen Vallum be toxic even though they live trying to kill him among several, and as I always say, people like Jen or those from QQ, they are all pro, but the week who play against maguma, or go on vacation or don't step on ebg even if they get paid.

Then they either try to play it off for everyone like they show good sportsmanship or they will play the victim when it's even numbers and they lose. What I’ve learned quickly as a beginner wvw roamer (warrior spellbreaker) is that wvw players are the saltiest most delusional people on this earth. I’ll get salty sad messages from however many years rank 1000+ roamers after fighting em at my rank (squire) and then when I go and try to respond back immediate block after their message so they get the last word 😂. Kaineng has alot of solo roaming and a couple regular trains, mag has an huge amount of trains BUT@@cmn88 it wont matter once the alliance change occurs as it will become guild based so id recommend just looking for a good guild that you enjoy roaming with :)

To concisely summarize the gist of this humble video, LIKE POLES REPEL EACH OTHER. I used to like you because you're skilled but then there's that clip of you complaining out of sheer frustration about some tanky build then inserts your hate on Celestial users. I understand you because I also run a high-burst build & makes me squishy. But then it's just another normal WvW stuff, the same when you end up getting ganked by a party of roamers.
