Maybe in 20 years she will be able to provide her perspective from that time period as a child along with the newfound understanding of what was going on psychologically and perhaps teens and young adults will be more aware of the behaviours around them the more these popular figures are public about the exploitative nature of the adults in their lives at the time. Being unaware of the more covert dangers you may be exposed to as a child/teen/young adult is what usually causes people to learn what those are from experience. So maybe instead of expecting more people to learn through unpleasant experience, talking about and analyzing situations like these could allow for a new generation of self-aware and less vulnerable people at a younger age than the previous.

I wouldn’t consider 7-8 years “a few,” especially between 14/21-22 or 17/24-25. A few would be 1-2 years, with 3 at MOST. It’s lost on me how people can say “teenager and adult banging” in the same sentence when adolescents are not equal to adults. And if you think they are, then we need to evaluate consent and the age of majority. I prefer if logic was consistent.
