Thank you Timmy, I appreciate your standing up and speaking out against those who accused you of supporting extremism. I am an atheist and I cried a lot with joy when the Assad gang fell. This is not the time to talk about anything other than Assad's crimes. Whoever tries to direct accusations at you or even at the new government is an inhuman person and a person who is directed by the non-neutral media. As I told you, I am an atheist and I know many atheists and Christians who living in peace now and no one has harassed them. On the contrary, everyone is happy with the way the new government and our (rables) new Free Army deal with people. It treats people in a way that no one in Syria can imagine. It treats people as if they were human beings, smiling with everyone and speaking nicely. These are the simplest things that Syrians were missing, yes to this extent. Therefore, anyone who talks about who is in charge of the government now should keep quiet. No one has the right to say a single word if they are not Syrian. I repeat my thanks to you Timmy.

Hi, from what I understand You're syrian. Italian guy here. Would you mind telling me what people there think about syrian democratic forces? I might be wrong but it seems to me that they were the only anti assad armed group which wasn't included in the agreements for the new government. Why would they not be included? Do Syrians see them as a threat? Didn't they help defeat ISIS? I hope I don't seem rude or anything asking these question, I just would like to understand the situation better, getting a real sense of what's going on here in Italy is pretty hard. I'm just curious. Hope you have a great day

Dear ''atheist'' yes let's hear from the minorities that dread the new islamist/jihadist regime. Lets hear about your rebel mercenaries/terrorists (SNA) that are currently funded by Turkey and are attacking the Kurdish population and the anti-ISIS forces (SDF). Or hear more about HTS the terrorist designated organization responsible for countless crimes and sectarian violence that currently leads this government. You are no better than Assad and you might be much worse.

@leopoldo156@ I am from Syria.. On the contrary, you are polite and respectful. May God bless you. As for the democratic forces, they want a state for themselves and do not want to be with the Syrian people. I regret that because we are all Syrians and we were waiting for this day, the day of victory. In the end, ISIS is a terrorist group and everyone must be against it, against ISIS.

This video was one of the toughest I’ve ever filmed. I can’t compare it to anything else. Walking through these inhumane cells-in total darkness-with the unbearable smell, seeing the clothes and food left behind, and knowing that just two weeks ago, young innocent people (students, activists, women, journalists) were breathing in there while being tortured daily… it was beyond horrifying. I’ll never watch this video again. I used to think Assad was a proud nationalist who put Syria first and opposed the West and the USA. Like many, I had no idea about the atrocities happening in these prisons or how brutally he treated his own people. This wasn’t known because no one from Syria could safely speak to the outside world. So when I see comments accusing me of supporting ISIS or Israel, I don’t know what you’re talking about. My goal with this video was to expose the crimes of Assad against humanity and show the reaction of the Syrian people now. Hundreds of thousands of innocents were locked away and tortured to death for simply having a different opinion. Assad had to fall, and thank God he did. Yes, the so called “Rebels”,with support from other countries, freed Syria from his rule. But now, it’s uncertain what’s next. I hope the Syrian people don’t end up with another Assad or suffer the fate of other Middle Eastern countries. No one knows what will happen, but I hope for a brighter future for Syria. I’m not a journalist, and no one paid me to film this. I actually lost money on this trip. But I felt it was important to share these stories. #FreeSyria

How heartless must Bashar al-Assad's soldiers have been to be able to do this to innocent, poor children, women, and men? What a miracle it is that you are all free now. My father has been missing in Sednaya since 2013 and I have not found him yet. There are underground basement rooms in Sednaya until now. This is the detention facility my sister and I were taken to: the Palestine Branch. This facility specialized in holding foreigners captured by Bashar. I am not Syrian; we went as tourists, but we ended up in this place. Had the Canadian government not intervened, we would have remained there until the rebels freed the captives. Do you see now why I say that Assad didn’t just kidnap Syrians who opposed him? Anyone and everyone was at risk. I made friends with Syrians, which is why I stayed silent when I returned to Canada-out of fear for their lives. But now, I can break my silence. This is to let you know and spread awareness: anyone could find themselves trapped in one of these facilities, locked away forever. There was even an American citizen who was freed only when the rebels broke into these facilities.

Hearing Muhammad tell that horror story made every part of me sick. I hope they track down every person that worked there, or had anything to do with that regime and take care of business. That must have been so terrifying to the point of just giving up and dying. I can’t even imagine. I pray these people affected get help to deal with the trauma and restart their lives. Humans really are the worst thing on this planet. How tf could you work there and just walk by cells, starve people for a week, and beat them almost dead and dead??? There is a special place in hell for those scumbags. God this was just so awful…

Thank you for your sympathy with us and for revealing the truth of the matter. I hope you do more so that the world will pressure to hold accountable the criminals who did this to us instead of them living in their hidden palaces that they fled to with our stolen money.

Timmy you are an inspiration. Thank you so much for all of your videos. Someday I hope to walk the unbeaten path as you do. I want to reiterate something your guide/journalist said….people were arrested and thrown in these prisons, and killed, not just for opposing but often for no reason at all. I wish nothing but peace and stability for the beautiful Syrian people. Thank you Timmy

17:11 They don't mind, in fact they enjoy the voices of people in pain and agony. The regime had literal monsters and savages serving in it. Most of them being Shia or Alawite with deep hatred for Suni Muslims. Imagine some people got arrested under the accusation of "prayer in groups at the mosque". People were afraid to worship because of the regime.

GTFO with that bullshit. The Syrian Army, the Syrian Cabinet, %90 of the ministers were all Sunnis. The detainees were ISIS, HTS and other terrorists & rapists & murderers. You may have won the war of propaganda and disinformation, but the Resistance is still here.

That ex-prisoner's account of what happened to him towards the end of the video legitimately made my eyes water. I can't even imagine the pain those prisoners felt. It just makes me extremely blessed to live in the country that I do.. I'm going to think about these people whenever I feel the need to complain about life.

This guy was luckier than others because he was part of Assad army from the start and just ran away. Now imagine what they do underground to the ones who organized protests, talked to foreign media or actually were taken captive during a battle!! The accounts of what they go through will haunt you forever.

Now Syria is stable and there are no wars, but the scenes of killing that Bashar al-Assad was doing make us depressed. I lost the dearest person to me because of Assad, and I lost my relatives because of him.
