Forgot to mention the unspeakable acts he did to his dead wife's body. "Why does he have worms in his willie?" Well when you choose to do certain acts for years to a corpse, that seems pretty open and shut as to why you have worms in your willie.

There was no "Palestine" during Herod's time. But there was a Judea.
@secondcomingofbast9908Ай бұрын
Palestine was the name of the region that included Judea.

@MiracleFound Wrong, wrong, wrong. The Greeks named the region Palestine after the Philistines. That's why the Palestinians of today adopted the name even though they aren't really Philistines The name was used to refer to Herod's extended kingdom, which included much more than Judea.

I believe that the way Herod has been stricken with different type of slow death with gangrene and worms....was just maybe the last time God showed him personally that we come from the Earth,where we will return when our time comes. Herod got a literal,metaphorically blunt and truly real so not to be misunderstood in any way at all so that he knew without a doubt,that he was not God,and was the punishment for his actions against his father and creator. God passed his judgment and Herod found out that while his last moments of life...my thoughts. 🙏.

I'm amazed at the foolishness that is fed too us today concerning "materialism, evolution, archeology, etc". The most disprovable, ignorant, mindless nonsense, and the secular population eat it up, swallow it hook, line and sinker. They will cling too a proven lie, even unto their death. But, when it comes to God, His Son Jesus Christ and His written Word. It has remained infallible, no matter to what extent they go too, in order to try and discredit God's Word. It only ends up proving and providing even more evidence, that there is neither 1 dot nor tittle of the Holy Bible that isn't 100% factual. Yet, they scoff, blaspheme, curse, hate and discard the words of the living God. The God that gives and sustains their very lives. Simply because they refuse to acknowledge and yield too, the higher power that will hold them accountable one day. I often think about the souls that have rejected God's mercy and chosen to be cast into hell. The souls like the rich man's, in the parable of the rich man and Lazarus. Who would give anything just to send word too their piers or family, that "it is all real, we were wrong, please please please turn to Christ and never enter this unimaginable reality of eternal torment! ".

Reading the Jewish wars gave me a different perspective on Herod. If he’s king and I can kill him, I get to be king. It was survival of the fittest. True he was paranoid but his sons didn’t necessarily have to wait for him to die. I think part of his problem was having kids by different wives. They weren’t full brothers and each one seemed to want to reign so they lied to him and he didn’t know who to believe
