I know you wanted to show how good this can be done without flash, but it would have been an even better tutorial to show how adding a flash layer could further enhance the composite. It would be interesting to get your take on how to best incorporate flash layers using Luminar.

It’s always nice to see you try to explain everything so clear. Even watching on the second time, I always gaining more tiny techniques that’s help me workflow. I have an idea about the “editing your photo” thing that you can put in just only for the architecture photo to show how to edit the viewer photos. May be it work or not is up to you. I just sharing my idea. I’ve have seen a lot of how to edit the interior and architecture but not so thoughtful and methodology like your way. Keep up the good work. Cheers!

I vote no, with Lumenzia, he could knock this out in half the time haha. I think he was looking to show a different technique through Luminar

I've been playing with midjourney a bit but currently there's nothing AI based that is replacing the capture of the real environment. ....for now 😜

With Nikon you can do hdr photo in the camera saved as a tiff. It saves the 2 rawfiles as well. Take another picture with the flash. You can use the 4 images as layers.

Thanks for your clear explanation but can’t you do the same without Luminar by using HDR merged image from Lightroom?

Lightroom can be used to create a great 32bit hdr file. You've then got to process it though to bring back the shadows and highlights. I've done a full video on my technique.

What are you using to merge H Dor are you still using Aurora

I'm using the HDR extension for Luminar Neo. It's built on the same Quantum Engine as Aurora. Unfortunately Skylum discontinued Aurora as a standalone program.

throw away the flash? seriously? what about the blue color cast on the right edge of the pic? what about the green/yellow/aqua color cast on the ceiling? what about different saturation/luminance levels in the both windows?(mindblowing to be honest for a pro). And finally, just a simple question, did you deliver a final photo to your client just by using Luminar? :D and maybe last but NOT least, considering the light direction, I love the dark shadow on the curtain on the right side.

Thanks for the feedback Jarek. This is part one of a two parter, where the issues you astutely highlighted are addressed in pt2. There should be a link at the end of the video. If you've seen my other vids you'll also know I demo many different blending techniques for users with different software. This one is aimed at the luminar users.

Man, shots fired, lol I'm going to say this was clearly aimed for Luminar users. Otherwise, he'd throw it in Photoshop, double-mask with Lumenzia, correct casts and get paid! Remember though, these are more advanced techniques, he can't cover everything in every video

@Michael Roach Yes you're right Michael. 100% put together for the Luminar only users. A lot of people that follow my other channel use Luminar and have asked if there's any options for them... hence this video. Yeah "shots fired" alright So funny that I put a video together trying to help people and get a random comment pulling it to pieces. All good though 👍
