Exposure Lamp ERROR CODE SC101 SC142 RICOH MPC color copier

was using a Ricoh Aficio MP C4000 for photocopying but after I changed the black toner, I am getting only blank pages. Can anybody help me with it. Thank you

This is a very strange symptom. There is no color? It may loosen the Drum Unit and will not contact. But in that case other colors should be visible,

This is a lamp problem. Check if the lamp is lit. If it is lit during copying, you may have a dirty copy machine. Maintain it and wash the glass, mirrors and lamp in particular. If this does not help, then there is another problem: 1 Check the connector between scanner unit-MFPB CN102, CN103 for proper connection and correct as necessary. - - 2 Check for possible extraneous light and correct as necessary. - - 3 Clean the lens, mirrors, CCD surface, and shading sheet if dirty. - - 4 Correct reflective mirror of the scanner if faulty, or change scanner mirror. - - 5 Replace scanner unit - - 6 MFPB F102, F105 conduction check - - 7 Replace MFPB

If you have sc829 then: 1. Replace the RAM DIMM. 2. Replace the controller board.

I had such a problem in 2020 and the errors were from this PCB which powers the scanner on the scanner under the lamp

Hi, SC552 is a very popular fault that most often occurs after self-repairing a Fuser Unit, or after a Fuser Unit failure. Theoretically, you may have a damaged or dirty thermopile sensor located behind Fuser. But often the cause of sc552 can be simply damaged FUSER FIXING FILM. If you have previously unfolded FUSER, it is very likely that you folded it incorrectly - incorrectly installed heater cover for FUSER FILM.
