Hello I have a question, I bought a comercial truck from a owner who drove the truck with IRP I went to the DMV and they told me that I can’t register the vehicle under my name because of that. I only have a bill of sale as a proof of ownership, what do I need to be the legal owner of the truck?

However, they may ask for the POA so that if and when there are accounts to be set up or documents to sign, the compliance company has the authority to set up the accounts on your behalf. I would definitely recommend checking with the company to see why they need it!
