My memory of being a single mom in a shelter with my 2 boys ages 5 and 3. I will never forget holding them tight and promising them that mommy would find a way for us. That time with my boys is so very precious. Fast forward my boys are now men ages 35 and 37 and the bond we formed so many years ago has shaped us into who we are now. My boys say they will never forget my strength and that has made them into the men they are today. My heart is full and I thank the Lord for saving us. I make a lot of projects with fingering weight yarn, but love to use bulky every now and then to see a project work up quickly. I really want to make this beautiful blanket with your beautiful yarn !

Hi Chandi! I found your channel a month back and I have made your lovely lace and ondinea shawls. I have been knitting for so many years but patterns scared me! Your easy and approachable teaching style gave me the confidence to finally give patterns a try! I even learned how to knit faster from watching your tutorials. This is such a cool shawl and I really wish there was a knitting version of this pattern, but I know that’s probably not possible due to the nature of the lace.
