Even with patch antennas, I can barely even get just under 2 km on video before I'm completely blind. BetaFPV 915Mhz 100mw ExpressLRS - I thought OSD was frozen. Took 700m+ and a building for the numbers to even budge.

I am waiting for my Moxon antenna, I am using a super 8 and I get only 100 meters. The place where I fly has a lot of street power transformer and towers of phone cell, I guess that are problems also. In my scenario, I highly think I need to change to ELRS 2.4Ghz, but when my Moxon antenna arrives I will make other tests. Way to go and salute from Brazil.

The super 8 is known that has a faulty joint. Mine isn't used at all. Have changed it in the moment the R9m module came. Try with good antenna and you will see the difference.

I have a problem, my range is so bad with my r9 2019 900mhz. 400 meters and failsafe. A new reciever and antenna are helping nothing ( other reciever placement too). I flasht both new? My lq is most of the time high but the rssidb is so low i have after 300meters -90 at 50 mw ???? Can someone help me

you can try flashing them to ELRS. should be better in theory. I just got help from a friend to do it, but have not tested yet.

Its a cheap partom TX , but the receiver is good, its Lawmate with the saw filter mod. Flying without other filters or so , its perfect quality and 5.5 dbi antenna.

2.4 ghz only if you aim for some very low latency ( 500hz) or antenna size is a problem , otherwise 868mhz all the way
