Express LRS, also known as ELRS, has different ways to bind. This video shows how to bind a SPI ELRS receiver, like the one found in the Happymodel Crux3 NLR or many other happymodel drones with ELRS AIO cards.

But the worse of all I have bout 2 Darwin baby ape and both burned up before I could fly with them so I bout 2 more flight controllers with build in expresslrs one of them burned up yesterday and I am down to one!!!! The worse hardware that I have ever invested in is Darwin FPV baby ape. I have solved all other problems. I have 2 laptop and one of them the betaflight worked

The CLI commands should be shown with a larger font as the screenshots could not be seen clearly. To many who are not familiar with BetaFlight actually do not know what it are talking, This problem ruins your presentation badly.

how do I set to 250hz .. The problem I had was I downloaded the firmware off beta flight instead of happy models web page the firmware on beta flight is wrong

I'm wondering if you can help me. I have a happymodel spi elrs 2.4 receiver and I flashed my zorro which I should not have done. Now it will not bind again but will bind to my jumper t lite in betaflight. I never flashed the FC. Now when I flashed the radio it does have a binding phrase. If I could unflash my radio it would be fine I think but I don't know if there's such a thing.

I’m Not sure I follow the whole problem. Unless you have mayor version differences they should work together. SPI I believe is still in 2.X version unless you use betaflight 4.4, so you will need to flash your zorro with a 2.x version. In terms of firmware you never “unflash” you always flash, just the version that you want, so if you flashed 3.x and now you realized you need 2.x you just “flash 2.x” I hope this helps

Yes they do. The good thing with ELRS is that you flash the software you need. Both on the tx and RX. So you don’t have to worry much on those kind of things.

Thank tou for responding! That was the problem. On an aio spi fc you dont flash the rx. You only update betaflight. So i assumed it was going to be fcc.

Hi NordFPV, just a quick question. I have a happyModel Mobula 6 with built in ELRS 2.4 SPI Receiver. My ELRS transmitter was originally running ELRS v 1.1.0 and I had no problem binding to mobula6. I then recently upgraded my transmitter to ELRS 2.0.0. In betaflight I use the bind button to bind the mobula6 to my transmitter again. It seems to work, but I noticed that as I move my controls (throttle, yawl, pitch, etc...) values in betaflight don't move smoothly. changes to the controls values seem very jumpy or erratic. I think I need to somehow upgrade the mobulas6 version of ELRS to 2.0.0 as well.... How do I do that?

ELRS v2 is not backwards compatible with v1.x so you need to either upgrade your drone firmware or downgrade the TX firmware. The drone firmware is only in beta and a bit more complicated to upgrade. It’s possible but I’ll recommend to downgrade your TX and wait for the official betaflight support for your SPI receiver

@@danno20121 no, everything is software. You just need to get your parts to the right software. If you upgraded your TX to 2.0, you just need to upgrade the Mobula Betaflight firmware to the right release. As today the right release is still in beta, you can still use it, but you need to enable unreleased version to install it.

Normally AIO have what's called a SPI receiver. Those one are updated when Betaflight is updated. A bit troublesome. Much better to have a serial receiver which is updated by itself. I hope that helps Ce Harn!

Do you need to worry about version of ExpressLRS on TX and RX? If so, what is the best way to flash? I have a BetaFPV Micro TX that I flashed to 2.0 and a new Meteor65 Pro that I assume is on 1.0. Betaflight says it is on 4.3. Cheers!

Hi, yes you do need to pay attention on the version on the TX and RX, or at least that is the case right now with V2 and V1.X. Version 2 is not compatible with version 1.x, and you have to have v2 in both in order for things to work properly. This doesn't apply if you are in v1.2 vs v1.1 for example. I'll say that in general you should try to be in the same version on both RX and TX

I've a radiomaster zorro 2.4Ghz with the ELRS v2 and the LUA V2 (Edge 2.7.1), I bought a Mobula 7 1S 2.4GH, but I can't bind it one with another. I've proceded like you sayed, but the drone wait for the radio and nothing happens. What i'm missing?

Most probably you have different ELRS version. Check what version has the drone. It may still be in V1.

Hi friend. I have a crux3...Don't need the passfrass? I don't possibly use the ELRS configurator, And I don't understand what is the mode for fix the passfrass... Whitout elrs configurator. Or not is necessary? Don't need flash the FC...? In short, I would like to know how I could put the binding phrase, the transmitter flashes it to version 2.5.1 through a firmware file that a person prepared for me in a forum... now I have my 1w module already updated, now I need to update the receiver to version 2.x.x but I still don't understand if you can use both without the binding phrase or how this actually works... my problem is that the ELRS configurator gives me an error when I run it, error: bad signature 0x00000000 etc etc. don't possibly use the program... questions.. lol. Sorry for my horribly English but I are Spanish.. tanks friend..

Hola, mi estoy seguro cual es tu pregunta. Pero te digo, uno no está obligado a usar el passphrase, puedes aparearte usando el botón, pero es mucho más cómodo con el passphrase. El configurador es importante para mantenerte al día. A veces si la versión del receptor y emisor no son la mismas, las cosas no funcionan.
