I rode on the Tram when I connected through Detroit. It is really needed since the Terminal is so long.

Still red from the Northwestern days 😊

Well it’s still appropriate because one of deltas colors is red

I’ve been there And I am ashamed to admit I spent 70% of my layover in this train

Interesting down and back cable tramway. Now there’s something to go to on all those empty mezzanine levels above the ticket counters. Also, you can use the train to go from one premier flyers club to another.

Great idea!! Airports need an internal transit system to move the thousands of travelers😀😀 Thanks Tim

Ports would also need such a service for ship passengers.

That rolling stock looks like a longer version of the cars that were used in SATU in Oeiras, Portugal.

What is the technology of this system? It's so quiet compared to other people movers and I can't hear any sounds of motor.
@TheMexxodus3 жыл бұрын
It's Otis Hovair technology and called 'horizontal elevator'. It's a tram pulled by a cable visible in the clip. 👍

I don't remember this when I transferred from International to Domestic in March 2000 is it new? Then again I probably walked as I travel light and on the outbound would have just done 7+ hours from LGW to DTW. Do like the fact it's stayed in NorthWest Airlines livery despite it being swallowed up by Delta/Air France/KLM

I've always wanted to ride these. I've always thought they were unique. I also wanted to know, do you take video requests?
@timosha213 жыл бұрын
Depends on the location and my ability to get there ;)
@233CFH3 жыл бұрын
@@timosha21 I wanted you to do a different type of video. I wanted you to do trains that sound the same, but look different. There's a light rail system in San Jose, CA (I believe) that sounds just like the Hudson Bergen Light rail in my city of Jersey City. I don't know if you've ever been to Poland, but Warsaw has a Metro train that sounds like the R142/R160 subway cars in NYC.
