In West Bengal After registration of share & interest, following due process, membership was denyed since that person was accused in a case and remained in custody and now on bail. He has given his flat on rent where some illegal activities were carried out by the tenant . Pl advice referring the society rules and Acts.

There is no separate provision for Premises and/or Industrial Society in General Category in MCS Act and Rules as they are part and partial of Housing Society Federation only even most of them are not amended their Bye-Laws since inception though it is essential under MCS Act and Rules The Commissioner and Registrar of Co-operative Department have to take action against all the Societies for not adoption of Bye-Laws and not to carryout amendments as required under Law from time to time
