Great channel a question ? Can we make an interactive PDF file and browse it on mobile phones like computer screens with the same characteristics and features? Are there upcoming updates in ADOBE with the InDesign program? Thank you for the beautiful channel.

Most PDF readers on mobile disable/do not implement the interactive features - Adobe have no control over that, therefore there's no solution that can be addressed with a different kind of PDF. It's a sad fact that if you want interactive content on mobile, you need to either have an interactive website or an app.

Looking like Generative Expand won't work with placed images that have transparency except for PNGs, which are RGB only. Let me know if I have this wrong.

That is correct. JPG or PNG files will work. PSD files are not supported.

Good question. I think in that case you'd have to use the Prompt field to be more descriptive.

Hi James. It's currently available for English International and English North America. If you're not in these categories, it may be greyed out. If you are in the categories, try deleting the frame you're attempting to add Gen Expand to, save the InDesign doc, restart InDesign, create a new frame and import the pic. I think it's likely working through some initial bugs being in Beta, but it works well on my end. Hope that helps.

@@AngeloMontilla I'm in the USA English and I can't get "generative expand" to save my life. I only get Text to Image. Works perfectly in the in-app demos, mind you, but the moment I put a jpg or PNG into a frame, it's deader'n Julius Caesar. Infuriating, almost as aggravating as all the crap currently wrong with the latest Acrobat DC release. sigh.
