Love, love, love the bird! I certainly agree with you when it comes to bird feet and butterfly antennas. (There is one lady that I watch on KZbin that absolutely loves to fussy cut and cuts out the tiniest things to use on her layouts. Not me!) Your whole card was inspiring! I too may have to nab that stamp set as it is super cute. It is kind of amazing all of the different scenarios you come up with in your head to try and share with us. It is equally amazing how many followers you have and how many have watched and commented within an hour of it being posted. It really does not surprise me because you are so darn creative! I would have never thought to use/buy that particular bird stamp but I love it! It's a happy little bird that really makes the card (imo)! I couldn't figure out what you were going for when you cut the mask for the stencil. I FINALLY "got it" when you pulled the mask off (good grief I'm slow!). What a unique idea that looks great! You come up with the most amazing ideas. TFS!

These were great stencil ideas! I also found out that there are tri-blend markers (in the nib style) that are called “Shades”. There is a True Blue Shades and they are right in between the blends colors. So the true blue blend may have TB1, TB3, TB5 in one barrel. The true blue shades would have TB2, TB4, TB6. Cool, huh? And the shades can also come in the brush tip too.

This was a very timely and helpful video. Last night I was playing around with some new stencils and new ink brushes. 2 of the stencils really lent themselves to using multiple colors and I didn’t want to blend them. I just grabbed a scrap of cardstock for a mask and it worked. But I kept thinking there’s has to be a easier way. And I knew Natasha would know! I even have the Gina K masking tape (because you said it was the best). Now I just need to actually use it! Thankyou

It’s kind of odd ( I think) that I got into coloring first, then started stamping. I absolutely love that stamp set. It’s exactly the kind of thing I am drawn to. Just so I can play with colors! It’s going to be really hard to not use the same colors, though, now that I have seen yours. Beautiful end result. My guess is that it won’t be in the stash long after your family comes “shopping” !
