I really miss seeing dave on the late show. Notice his type of humor. Very simple yet funny and doesn’t have to force his version of humor on you to make you laugh. Its memorable. Reminds me when don rickles was on his show lol

I even remembered what Jerry Seinfield said in his netflix show that for Dave to like your comedy is like winning the lottery as it doesnt happen often.

Most people born after the late 80s won’t know or understand Dave’s impact on modern talk shows. Talk shows used to consist of just interviews; Dave changed everything. Not surprised Ellen being a talk show host herself, would idolise Dave too!

Watch the MASTER at play. Letterman is brilliant! Always subtle, but so quick with the hilarious quips. I of course love Stephen Colbert taking his place, but I do also miss Dave too. Hope we’ll be getting season 2 of ‘My Next Guest Needs No Introduction’ on Netflix soon. 💙
