I saw this game live on ABC and was praying for the Galaxy to finally win the trophy. When they scored the Golden Goal and were celebrating, ABC decided to end the broadcast. ABC always aired post-match interviews and trophy presentations but they didn't want to show the Galaxy's coronation. I was furious! The one thing I most wanted to see was denied. Was the trophy presentation ever filmed or even photographed? it's been over 21 years and I've never any footage or photos of the team being presented the MLS Cup other than the players already celebrating with it after the fact.

I remember watching this game and I was crying of happiness but I was pissed AF bcuz they didn't show the trophy presentation on TV. I've been waiting since 1996 to see the Galaxy being presented w/ the MLS Cup trophy. Is there a video of the trophy presentation?

@trojans7 I fear it doesn't exist. I'm sure ABC did it intentionally since they were always biased against the Galaxy and rooting for DC United, San Jose, and New England. They always showed the full trophy presentations and celebrations from all the previous MLS Cups but they purposely snubbed Galaxy fans when it was L.A.'s turn to win. IT'S NOT FAIR!
