Thank you, Southampton FC, for the extended highlights. It's clear that Raheem Sterling has lost some of his sharpness. I wouldn’t blame Chelsea FC entirely, but maintaining your skills in any sport is crucial. Cristiano Ronaldo remained an elite striker during his second stint at Manchester United, even while playing alongside average teammates. Messi continues to score goals effortlessly till now. Even in a youthful Barcelona squad, Lewandowski is still delivering top performances. Sterling could really benefit from joining Arsenal. He struggled in duels and lost possession too easily under pressure. However, I trust Arteta to work his magic on him. #COYG

This comment bus but necessary. How long did it take Mudryk to settle..?? How long did it take Kai to settle….?? You should know he is from a different background with a total different play style meaning he has to adapt. Get behind him and encourage him bro don’t hackle him
@VRed224Ай бұрын
@@archibongarchibong7015 Both my points and yours are valid and I captured them in my comment. However, not all managers have the patience to wait for reviving derailed skills and attributes of players. However, I trust Arteta to give him the necessary time to adapt.

Sterling has always been flashes in the pan between periods of fluffing it.
@VRed224Ай бұрын
@@greatbriton8425 Several clubs pursued him before he joined Liverpool FC in 2010, 14 years ago. He won the prestigious Golden Boy award in 2014 and was signed by Manchester City for £44 million in 2015. From the 2017/2018 to the 2021/2022 seasons, he consistently delivered impressive goal-scoring performances. However, his stint at Chelsea was largely underwhelming. Currently playing for Arsenal, his career trajectory includes playing for top clubs like Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea, and Arsenal, proving that he's far from being a flash in the pan.
@greatbriton8425Ай бұрын
@@VRed224 Perhaps flashes in the pan was the wrong word to use. (Many) moments of brilliance between (many) minutes of producing nothing or worse. People got excited about him because he IS good but they overlooked his ability to fluff it. He'll be a blessing to a team below the top 6.

@nathanreddy3199Ай бұрын
@cyberlink7098 nope Kiwior isn't much better. I think Calafiori can adapt. If someone is quick, he can't get touch tight, and he likes to do that but solid in the air and a great threat from set pieces.

😢thats just ignorance and lack of respect for an opponent to say the least from a stand point sure they struggle they are weak they have challenges etc but to bring it as a point just shows how you fall short of respect from top teams in the league and that's not a good picture to portrait for such a club if u are a fan ...sad

@TheMissingRummyАй бұрын
@@2daysago_ 4:33 they pause to show the line and Archer is clearly onside. The foul could go either way, Fernandes gets his foot in front of Sterling's as he goes to play the ball, could therefore argue Sterling kicks him. Sort of thing where there would be complaints either way it goes

6:13 terrible decision by VAR, it's clear that the offside player in attempting to get to heading the ball into the goal causes the goalie to cater for him first and afte rthe ball passes over him the goalie is then left in a late position to choose how to defend against the actual strike. So did the offside player interfere with play? 100% - in heading for the ball he forced the goalie to prepare for a potential strike from him Don't get me wrong, VAR is definitely better than a single ref making mistakes, but this decision is egregiously dumb.
