Its arguable that Justin Tiperic was blocked from making a tackle before Australia's first try. Its arguable that it was a bloody blatant forward pass a couple of phases before their second try. Its arguable that Hooper should have been sin binned. Its arguable that Kerevi should not have been penalised for leading with his forearm. Its arguable that there were deliberate delaying tactics in the scrum by Wales going into the last ten minutes. Its also arguable that despite a heroic, awesome, spirited fightback by the Aussies... in those last ten minutes.... Wales actually looked pretty comfortable, and the last minute turnover by Wales underlined how tired the Aussies were. So.... Can we NOT argue and just say.... What a brilliant match. Well done both teams And Cheika..... Given all of the above... "Congratulations to Wales" should have been the first three words out of your mouth you bitter, dummy spitting excuse for a Coach

Can we all agree on how good a rugby side Australia is? When you admit that, then you can understand why the second half of that game was a tough go. The Wallabies came out swinging and on fire, because Wales really did dominate the first half. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and my opinion is that I will not have naysayers and sore losers take anything away from Wales. Our domination of the first half and sheer determination to hang on and defend our lead against a driven determined Australian attack is only more of a testament to how well Wales played. So much more Rugby to be played, and it’s not over until it’s over. Simply well done Wales for this game. 🏴👍🏴👊🏴👌🏴🍻

Do not go and do an Ireland though, of gobbing it, then losing against a far lesser ranked side, you are better than that Wales. Ireland deserved what they got, although it will probably spurr them on like when NZ lost to Australia, it was the best thing that could have happened to them.

@KiwiGraggle5 жыл бұрын
@@xxwales15xx33 Yeah, I think they do, even though I cannot stand em. I reckon Ireland will do something similar to what NZ did when NZ got stomped on by Australia a few months back, is come back with more vigor and stomp on the remaining in that group. I am certainly not underestimating the Tatties. But on paper and on current form, they will need something special to knock NZ out, but NZ have a lot of work to do themselves really. I think Wales look very stable and steady, ok the second half they fell away, whether that was the weather or just fell off the pace will concern Gats a bit, but again, plenty of time to sort that out. As for Ireland, that loss might just be what they need to get back to what they can play like. But I have noticed they have toned down all the rubbish about beating NZ and such. They needed too, because in the 100 odd year history they have only beaten NZ twice, so ya know, its not much really and they simply do not have the record or stats NZ have, no one does and is not likely too in the foreseeable future. Remember in 2017 when Australia beat wales at a last minute try when Kurtley Beal knocked the ball on but got away with the try and no Aussies moaned? But how Gareth Davies was on side and they all cry their eyes out? Aussies has 70% possession and still couldn’t win the game yet moan at the ref? What!? 😂😂✊🏼

Typical Aussies they never liked loosing and was expecting a win today. Especially against as someone such as the welsh.

Wallabies’ selection is just terrible. Why Genia starts over White? He’s passing is way too slow which allowed Gareth Davis so many intercept attempts. Also he doesn’t go the same way he goes right to left, left to right so that he doesn’t have to run all the way to the ruck. When White came in the ball was faster and he had his plan. Foley started? Unbelievable. When To’omua came in he was running with the ball a lot and did so much than Foley. He didn’t miss any kick as well. Yes, Lealiifano didn’t play good against Fiji but you don’t have to kick him out of the squad. Then, putting Ashley-Cooper as 14 and Hayley-Petty as 15 rather than Hayley-Petty as 14 and Beale as 15. This is fine. However the whole thing tells that he’s too scared to use new players and keep sticking to his former teammates or veteran. Edit: Even the subs. Why sub Naisarani not Pocock? Naisarani is the only player there that’s balanced and he’s a multi-task player. Time to go Michael Cheika 🔔
@Jack-vc5ml5 жыл бұрын
Maybe naisarani was subbed because david pocock is one of the best players in the world and the australian coaching staff pick experience over youth?

Nick White is too Hotheaded to start a game of this magnitude. Genial is the right person to play due to Experience at this level plus Davis was miles offside after Sneaking in behind the Refs back... karevi tried to bole their #10 with 2 inside him, who knows what would have come of it had he looked and passed... Who knows...

Great game, hard fought by both teams and Wales did well to defend against the Wallabies in that second half. So much whinging in these comments though, yes there are some Aussies complaining about the ref but honestly I see more people complaining about aussies complaining than actual aussies complaining lol.

9:58 forward pass?
@whitefeverau5 жыл бұрын
Touch judge exactly in line with the play and even looks back to it. But the camera angle is forward so deceptive. Would of been close but touch judge right there.
@Karma-qt4ji5 жыл бұрын
@@whitefeverau Doesn't mean much. Was forward all day, you can see in relation to the 5 yard line where he threw it and where it was caught and there was no momentum to carry it forward. Doesn't matter though.
