I follow the world cups and European championships since 1992 and I no doubt the WC2002 was by far the WORST tournament ever! And nobody who remembers the tournement thinks about Korea as a semifinalists, everybody remembers how shamelessy referry helped them at 1/8f against Italy and 1/4f against Spain! That was an absolute disgrace, haven't seen anything like that in any other world cup! If you are too young to remember, check the highlights in youtube, wc 2000, Korea - Italy, korea - Spain! You shouldn't been even in 1/4f in that tournament!

No European team can play attacking rugby with the speed, accurate off loading and panache that Japon showed in the first half though Scotland did try in the second half. If destiny permits, a final between the All Blacks and Japon could be a spectaculaire game if both teams obeyed their instincts and decided to play fluid running rugby.
