Extended Highlights being only 9 mins long says all you need to say. The boys fought hard today but we are aside from the error we we're fantastic defensively but we need something else going forward. Harry getting booked so early was a joke and him getting grappled by two of their three centre backs without being able to fight back killed us. Love Drinan and Glatzel but we we're missing Butterworth and Longelo to give us something to take on their full backs. They play a back five and we got most of our joy when we overwhelmed their wing backs but Glatzel, Drinnan and Tshimanga all wanted to be down the middle. Referee was soft and was too prone to giving a decision based on who shouted loudest but these are the games I think we can take a point from with a january if we bring in some players who can create something going forward. That performance from everyone in the 21-22 season would have been fine but we are missing a McKirdy or Payne type player who can do something a bit special. Get a couple of decent exciting loanees in and we should survive. Still though we didn't end up here by accident. Sacking every manager and recruitment team ever 6 months and rebuilding the squad hasn't worked. We have no coinsistency. Thats what the teams that are doing well do. They commit to consistency on a recruitment level or on a managerial level and we have had neither #clemitstime

Clarke's absence shouldn't be underestimated either.

@ yeah real lack of communication from the midfield to the defence leading to lumped balls forward. Need Clarke to be back and fully fit and whatever Oforborh has done to be so far from the team I don’t know

@@softscoop7742 Oforborh's historic medical issues must be in the thinking. As he's been fitted with a defibrillator. While he's usefull to the squad. Unlikely to ever be a mainstay of the team. Another solid tackling midfield player must be on the shopping list.
