I love you James Hong! I met him in 1998 in Vancouver British Columbia and he gave me this beautiful card of a photo with him signed and I asked about his great scene in BLADE RUNNER, where he explained his process and how I had felt the life of the character he played. He's been in my life ever since I was born in 1962 and in so many films. I admire him and still have that card. Forever James Hong from a Greek/Australian/Canadian! I loved seeing you in EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE!

His Chinese name is 吳漢章 (Cantonese Jyutping: Ng Hon-zoeng). His surname is actually Ng. Chinese names are written in Eastern name order with the surname preceding the personal name.

Little-known trivia about actor James Hong. James Hong is William Hung's AGT "She bangs, she bangs" fame father. William Anglonizes his last name to Hung instead of Hong.

I agree. Very poorly comprised, scattered video. Frustrating to watch for someone who was interested in learning about Mr. Hong. Was especially taken by his role in 'the day the earth stood still.' He was wonderful as a conflicted alien having mixed feelings about the earthlings he lived among. Very moving performance.
