t's the first time I've watched and listened to an interview with this gentleman - The thing that struck me is his way of responding seems disjointed and disoriented - Not even he seems convinced of what he says -

Gee, it's almost like English isn't his first language. OF COURSE things are a ''little disjointed'' when you're speaking ANOTHER LANGUAGE. Do you even realize (obviously you don't) how incredibly difficult it is to learn English, if you are native Russian speaker?? (Zelensky is actually a native Russian speaker). They have completely different alphabets. Totally different grammar structures. It's incredibly hard. And FYI English is actually Zelensky's third language. His first is Russian, his second is Ukrainian, his third is English. He had trouble even with Ukrainian, which has a similar alphabet (a variation on the Cyrillic alphabet) and grammatic structure to Russian....English was even harder for him, as it would be for anyone speaking either Russian or Ukrainian. Even with the most simple of sentences, the grammar/word order is different. Ukrainian has grammatical concepts that don't even exist in English. So...yeah...I think a person will sound a little disjointed when speaking their third, extremely-hard-to-learn language. Duh.
