This is an excellent interview. The questions were great and Martin is so articulate, so thoughtful at his responses. He had an incredible career, so it's always interesting to hear him reflect on all that.

I don't get why they think Pennies From Heaven wasn't great. It got 3 Oscar noms, 3 Golden Globe noms, and Peters won the Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture Actress for it.

It was bad timing to put that movie out then, since Steve was so well known as a comedian. Besides, there are plenty of bad nominations at the Oscars and Globes every year. They often get noms just because they're PC, artsy fartsy or someone got paid.
