Kind of, there’s an emergency ‘end ride’ button that will pull the car over as soon as it’s safe and exit the ride

​@@themiddlelanelm Cool! But, I wonder if there should be an emergency brake button that has the car completely stop. Let's say hypothetically that the computer malfunctions and there is no safe place to pull over; well, I believe the car should just stop for everyones safety. The tech is cool and I look to what the future holds (especially with all the generative AI tech/ I wonder when that will play a part in automated driving tech)!

@@rperm Even if it is true, majority of the video is the same, the so-called extended video is shorter and I am not going to see duplicate stuff for the few extra seconds. This is not Lord of the Rings.

I’ll keep riding my bike as I have been for the last 10 car-free years. The world keeps complaining that Americans are too fat and spoiled; this system will promote a lack of fitness and a surfeit of body weight. I like EVs, but I’m not interested in these things…

@@Sbensonn I like EVs, but mostly the ones that individuals have made by stripping out the ICE system and replaced with motors and batteries. All the silly screens in factory-built cars make me feel as though I'm back at work. I liked driving as an engaging pastime that allows me exploration. On a drive, I wouldn't want to see and be reminded of sitting in an office or grinding away in my home computer. Commuting by car is tedious enough without the distractions. I dislike riding in taxis intensely, really. Just a pedal bike for me, thanks...
