I have, essentially, that same engine in my 2019 A5. It's just a solid workhorse. Decent HP and performance, with very good mileage and fun factor. It's not Ferrari fast, but it's way more comfortable than most sports cars and eminently useful as a daily driver with the potential for some fun weekend road carving up its sleeve.

I lived with a Lucid Air Grand Touring for a week and I really, really wanted to like it when I rented it, but for every major thing it got right, there are minor things that make it terrible. The Trunk is simply not good, the cup holders are not even and one is way too small. The infotainment screen is tiny, no HUD, the drive selector modes are in a screen instead of a physical controller, the drive modes are not customizable, the interior options and the forced two tone seating is a bad choice. The glass windshield/roof is a risky proposition for real world driving in places with on going construction. You have to go through the screen for the seat heater/ventilation, the ambient lighting is WEAK, there aren't many luxury options in the rear seat. For the deals they're giving, some of this stuff can be forgiven, but the Lucid Air is a major compromise compared to other EV's with more thoughtful design. The biggest pros I can end with are the range is amazing, and it is a pretty good looking car. I hope they fix the missteps sooner than later, otherwise there won't be much later for them.

First of all I love the videos on this channel, Luke! Just commenting to say I’m not sure about that consumption figure. I have a BMW i3 in southern Florida and I generally average 4-5.5 mi/kWh. I have automatic climate programmed for five days a week, lots of AC usage, and every green light is a launch for me. Of course I have a much smaller battery (~42kWh, about 38kWh usable, software limited) but I still see nearly 200mi usable between charges, though EPA estimates about 150mi on a full charge. I really appreciate the Lucid coverage, I feel like it might be my next car, assuming prices come down in a few years on the used market.

Albania is like a heaven for old MB cars, it's where these cars live a second life. And because their quality, MB is the most sold brand on used market. These cars are amazing. My dad has one (w124 E300) as a 2nd car, with 320 tkm, bought 20 years ago with 150 tkm. Still driving like a 🏆. But in you're case I think that the cars were not well taken care of in the past. I've seen W124 with a lot higher mileage than these and in better shape. Nevertheless, great video and adventure 👏
