Chord progression: I - VII - VI - (V) - IV - I Or Bm A G (F#) Em Bm, you can just solo with the b minor / pentatonic scale :)

This is for those that want to get stoned and jam to comfortably numb for hours.

+4, People know, it is a cultural tradition. I understand it and I don't even get stoned. But it only has the verse progression.

@user-gv4bf4zx2s8 жыл бұрын
. Thanks for the upload. Most Excellent. :) This is the absolute best tool to practice and then ultimately ad lib some epically sick "Comfortably Numb" solos. Tweak in the sound/tone, warm up a bit, brush up a bit on some of the tastier Gilmour licks to zone in on the style, then let your imagination go with it. ;) The 'resources' available today to budding young musicians is simply beyond belief. I *WISH* I were 11 years old again and picked up the guitar.... Any song you want is at your fingertips, audio and tab. In 1980 it was hard enough getting together with your friends bc the only communication was a telephone tied to the wall. No cell phones, not even pagers were out yet. Basically, you had to get the song, whether capturing on cassette from the radio station, or buying the album.... neither of which mediums are meant to have certain sections stopped, backup, play again... again and again and again.... to sit there and try to figure songs out. Your other options were to share with other peer guitarists what you know and hope one of them might've gotten a tricky part you can't get... sometimes playing something 'wrong' for so long, like misheard lyrics. But hold on to your hats kids! "Guitar" magazine has something called TABS, showing you how to play stuff. Problem is, they really don't take requests, and comes once a month, so basically, you got 5 songs, of which maybe 1-2 you might be interested in.... and never a popular song that's on the radio. Then all the tutorials started coming on VHS... which was this neat new thing... basically a huge cassette that only plays 'one side', but for video. And now.... sheesh... just type in any song followed by the word 'TAB' into Google, and Voila! ... there it is.... and hey, you say you prefer somebody showing it to you? No Problem! utube to the rescue!... sure, it's not guaranteed you'll find every song, but if it's popular, chances are there's a shitload of people showing how to play it... and you can slow it down to 1/2 or even 1/4 speed, lol... And this 'backing track' stuff? Totally fucking Awesome to find your own style.... Who needs a fucking band? 10 minutes of B Minor (" Comfortably Numb")... coming right up. Seriously, if you are a young musician right now and aren't progressing, you have no excuse. You have NO IDEA how easy you have it!

Well you know I mean really with this much of a piece of music repeating yourself is going to happen but we have the bm scale 5 bars of the bm pentatonic and some sweep lead possibilities... mostly blues. but I believe you should have recorded... ofcourse with a live backing track and audience playing the whole 20 minutes with a little buzz would be beautiful... lol.
