А мне 24,и это ШЕДЕВР.Я честно говоря -новоиспеченный фанат Led Zeppelin,но это композиция восхитительна!И я балдею с нее!Возникает такое ощущение,что только эти парни могли себе позволить сочинить такие длинные полотна,на протяжении большей части которых ты как в фильме ждешь развития сюжета(т.е. когда уже наконец то таки они начнут петь ! ))). Великолепно !Была же раньше музыка,которую люди сочиняли и писали ,а не соединяли с помощью алгоритмов, выдавая за свое… Вообще для меня существуют вещи которые неповторимы:были и есть только одни Led Zeppelin и аналогов в моем понимает нет!,также и с Pink Floyd.Пока такая музыка жива и люди из разных поколений ее слушают по крайней мере музыкальный мир не обречен на абсолютную деградацию,а обречён всегда иметь надежду на то,что будут выходить стоящая музыка ,а не откровенный … Вобщем музыка на Века!!!! В начале 80 - х посчастливилось вживую видеть некое действо, которое врезалась в память ярким пятном... На протяжении всего концерта на огромной сцене, построенной посреди поля, рабочие строили стену. В конце всего ЭТОГО с верхних ярусов зрительских мест был запущен огромный макет самолёта. По прозрачному тросу. Прямо в эту стену... Взрывы, грохот пиротехники, дым... Когда всё рассеялось, - всё увидели, что стена была проломлена.... Я долго всё ЭТО "переваривал" и много лет никому не рассказывал, чтобы оставить при себе те самые ощущения. А было это недалеко от Будапешта. Друг мадьяр провел меня огородами... Правда пришлось после на "губе" посидеть... Многое бы отдал, за повтор этих ощущений!!! 😇🙏💥

I'll listen to biggy or the clash before I go skateboard, I'll listen to Chopin when I read math, Neil Young or Johnny Cash will hold my hand when I try to sleep. But Pink Floyd? Pink Floyd I listen to when I want to move my soul, the sounds and voices speak to me, I feel as if I am 8 again and the world is huge and wonder and amazement is right around the corner. I don't care about the drama, the waters said this or gilmour did that, that's up to them to figure out. I am a voyeur of sorts, and Pink Floyd can take you to the furthest recesses of your mind, and I love them for it. Nothing has ever moved me as person as Pink Floyd has.

JailhouseBlues I was there with my husband, we'd not been married long..he died April 2015 only a month after being diagnosed with liver cancer. All through the years together whenever the subject came up he would say when I die play " shine on you crazy Diamond" at my funeral. His funeral was May 11 last year are glorious summer day. The service was a very lovely old church was a brilliant hi-fi and a cool lady vicar so we played the entirety of this track for five minutes before The undertakers arrived with his body, we stood as his coffin was carried into the church and then we sat all the while music continuing in the background… It was wonderful and exactly what he dreamed of. Dave Gilmour really rang out round the walls of the old church where the acoustics are glorious… Despite my sadness it truly was a magical occasion and exactly what Terry wanted. So now the music is bitter sweet but it actually defines my relationship with my wonderful husband.

Warrendoe Sorry for your loss. I can see why he chose this song. It's both haunting and magical. Sometimes I listen to it when I'm sad, or sometimes I listen to it just to relax. I'd say the song itself is bittersweet when it comes to the emotions it invokes.

JailhouseBlues thank you for replying! Yes it was his fave all his life. He was a guitarist who played Floyd too, he was built like David , exact same body shape, both had same long hair in young days...and because he learned by studying David he used the same facial expressions lol! So watching him play is truly bittersweet because apart from his face and hait he could be my Terry, even his hands are very similar. As a couple Terry and I kept ourselves to ourselves; when he became gravely ill Spring 2015 I had so many people contact me on FB from the groups I belong to......I would say about 60 people messaged me regularly...it kept us afloat emotionally . And at the time of the funeral those who could lit a candle and played the song, or if working just played it quietly or even after work , there were people round the world ( I'm in England) it was so moving to see his life celebrated with this glorious song. Thanks for listening.

That's great - I got introduced to PF by a school friend +- 1974. He pitched up with a vinal which was still ok but the cover was somewhat manhandled. Still have it to today. To think that over a period of of say 47 years or so we now have the music on the original vinyl, video, MP3, MP4

He has a lot of cassette records of Pink Floyd and I remember way back when I was a child I hate it because I don't understand it now that he's gone I listened to this band that's when I realized this band is so great and I wish I had love this band when I was a child so that we'll have a great time listening to them. Мне 28 стукнуло 67.Слушаю музыку в основном сидя в ванной на стульчике чтоб ни кто не мешал.Хотя есть Ресирвер Ямаха 7+1 элак.О вкусах сыновей не знаю.Живут отдельно.У каждого семья.Старшему 34Младшему31.Мусью.
