it was a great time following toms limerick team,that whole decade was outstanding with great characters on and off the field.even thought we didn't win a final under tom they were great memories with off the cuff hurling been played .

Now there's a hurling interview. One of the best hurling interviews I've heard in a long time from a man sat into his kitchen table with a sign of work on him. I've seen Tom Ryan have a few pints and talk to strangers for hours about hurling, including my late uncle who was delighted to be talking to a current limerick manager at the time. A noteworthy interview from a man with a serious contribution to hurling. Fair play to Tom and Eoin for the interview.

Tom Ryan former Limerick hurler & manager . He had a Limerick local station with Gerry hannon and Tony browne. Called R.L.O. Now gone. To be fair to Tom Ryan . he was a Superb Limerick manager in the 90's.

If he was so good a manager how did they let a 5 point lead slip and loose by 5 points all in 5 minutes in 1994 and fail again in 1996 when he had an excellent opportunity to rectify it and make up for it v a very mediocre Wexford team that done nothing after?
