"Extended Warranty is a Scam, Why so?" In your case sir, your car was a defective piece, your car was 1% of 1,00,000 who get defective piece, either your car is from Honda or Hyundai. Yes, its hard truth to swallow but there are 1000 cars in 1,00,000 made that are defective or have some fault. Which is where extended service came handy and its made for you only. Extended Warranty doesn’t cover whole car, it provides less coverage than the original factory warranty (which is 2-3 years). Extended Warranty covers only engine bay and gear, rest tyres, brakes, clutch, music system, suspension it doesn’t cover. It’s a lie that your salesman say that it will cover whole car, ask him to give him in written he will back off. Secondly, some part has warranty upto 30,000 - 40,000km after that your extended warranty is garbage. Car company wont disclose this thing ever. You cannot service your car from outside nor you can extend your service (On 15,000km instead of 10,000km) it can void your warranty. One more thing, car and car engine are Research and developed and tested every part for 1000 times for years n years to ensure its durability up to 5-10 years easily, just like AC compressor are given 5-10 years warranty because it made to last, but car company avoid to give maximum warranty for free bcs they can charge for it. Who should by Extended Warranty? ✅If you are a new driver or bad driver (then chances of wear and tear is high) ✅You have very high running ✅CVT transmission or AT gear Must buy ✅If your car cost above 20 Lakhs (means expensive parts) ✅If you are buying luxury car, BMW, Skoda, Audi ✅Tata wale must buy :P ✅It’s a newely launched model (like - Hyundai Exter) Who should not buy Extended Warranty? ✅If you are experience driver ✅If you have less running (less wear and tear, less defective) ✅Maruti, Hyundai and Toyota guys never buy it ✅Wants to do Modification or Upsize your tires or CNG fitting (extend warranty will be void) ✅You can take good care of car (like proper timely servicing) ✅Buying car below 15 lakhs ✅Buying Base model For more info like this follow my channel! 😊 @4wheelsride
