Right now some company have Engine cover policy witch will cover you engine in different terms (i.e accident not required) If you have your engine covered in insurance, so read the terms and condition thoroughly or ask ur agent or custo. care.. you get the idea... On general you are right that accident must happened if you want to claim but what is the definition of accident ? And what type of accident ? That's have to find out and that's mentioned in terms and conditions. I hope you have no doubt now..
