Extending The Driveway

Steve uses the LS MT235HE tractor to instal a small drsinage line and spread 3/4 inch base gravel on a new section of driveway.

A hydraulic top link is awesome with a box scraper. I have 40 foot high cube containers for equipment storage at my tree farm. I get containers with doors on both ends for really good access. The ones that I get are specifically made for storage.

I couldn’t tell if you did it or not but there should be a crown on your driveway. A gravel road should have a crown with a height of ¼ inch for every foot that the road is wide. For example, a road that is 12 feet wide would have a crown height of 3 inches, meaning the center of the road should be 3 inches above ground level.

Thanks for the comment. I probably dont have enough crown on this section of driveway and certainly not as much here as the rest of the driveway I did last year. I was trying to stretch the gravel for now and will increase the crown when I purchase more to finish the parking areas around the cabin. Thanks for watching.

Hello, thanks for the comnent. It is rated at 35 horse power however that is a little decieving for this particular tractor. It has the same size displacement as the rated 50 horse power tractor but has been restricted to 35. I am not certain how this is done but my dealer did confirm it when i asked him after viewing a pamphlet of the LS line up
