Thank you Alex for the kind words, I hope you enjoy the videos. Filming and editing is the hardest part of the project 🤣

I recently fitted new hardwood joists to a room in my house but I didn't wrap the ends in moisture barrier...wishing I had now having seen this. Loving the project and learning a great deal, thanks so much.

Thanks Joe, it’s a real bone of contention to wrap or not to wrap the ends. Some even say it traps the moisture in but it’s a tried a tested method that I have not heard it causing any issues.

Some nice work there mate. It's a pain when you have to drill the steel. You cracked on with it though 👍👍👍👍

Great video. Question - Are you using 2x4 lumber for joists? Are you using 12 inch centers or 16?
@projectlivesey56292 жыл бұрын
Thanks Billy, the joists are 7x3 at 16” centres. Big expensive timber specified by the engineer but they will look good exposed.
