Not sure about the placement of the bifold/french doors in the extension. Every time you enter the space the eyes are naturally drawn to see through to the garden but there is the wall there instead.

I love the work you’re doing but agree. Could you at least put a windows in the wall? The bifold would have been better placed more to the left. That’s a better natural flow. It would have meant rearranging the kitchen but… anyway greatly look forward to see the end result

It’s really taking shape. The dining area, kitchen and snug are so connected. You’ll really be able to have a lot of people and when the weathers good the garden as well.

You have a hole in your house! lol Coming along nicely. As long as the sink isn't in the island, because in practical day to day use it always looks messy. Better up against the back wall with a widow overlooking your patio. Then you can have a lovely display in the middle of your island, people sitting on the other side and they don't have to look at dirty stuff or work in progress in the sink. I have had a house with sink in the island and now have now one without and it works much better especially when you have people over. You can put a nice buffet of treats on the island and have people walk around it and put things on their plates. Doesn't work at all well with a sink stuck in the middle of a beautiful quartz top. Just a thought for consideration before things go in.

Coming on wonderfully l remember when we did our first one. Poles holding the house up and living in a bedroom with a kettle and microwavey /combination. Re kitchen cabinets have you thought of a Led light rope underneath they hide and are cheap to run. We have dogs three GSD's who went to my brothers house. Had a shower fitted that will hold 3, and waterfall showers but the dog's still go in and keep dry! New home looks brilliant it will be worth it.

Hi, the sink is in the island not against the wall. The hob is against the wall.

When Matt opened the back down and blocked Elliott from getting through to see the old kitchen wall door, I really thought if you dont move quick Matt, Elliott will rugby tackle you out of the way lol 😂 🤣, cos I think we were all exited to see too lol... It's looking amazing! Iam so looking forward to watch as the progress continues. It's gonna be a very nice space, the only thing I think I would have done is put a glass door between the kitchen and the living room..? easier movement and the light could shine freely through the house. I am sure you have some thoughts behind not doing that? :) I have a feeling you will only stay in the kitchen when it is like this and never use the living room :) And that is compleatly up to you of course, just a thought and an idea.
